Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona

Stayed here for four nights while dropping my daughter off at her study abroad program, as her dorm was just a few streets away. The taxi queue was at the corner of the hotel, l and taxis were always available. The mall is just a crosswalk away, and the beach is a very short walk. There were many other guests there pre- and post-cruise, so the lobby was always busy with cruise guests. I would have no issue staying here again, as the rooms were spacious and nice.

We have recently come home from Barcelona and had a great time at the Hilton. We found the view from the room stunning with both sea and city views. Lovely big comfortable bed and high cleaning standards. We had fresh water every day and a well appreciated mini fridge. The ice machine is by the lifts and was much needed after a hot day in Barcelona. The breakfast is a must with a wide selection of food and drink options. We especially enjoyed the Sunday mimosa station! There is an option for a cooked or cold breakfast and more importantly Churros! The staff make a hotel, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Even when our room was not ready due to a maintenance issue we got offered some free cocktails at the hotel pool bar. We cannot wait to come back!

Me and my partner stayed for 6 nights here and must say it is incredible! The photos don’t do it justice the view is breathtaking. When checking in they were very helpful and the workers all know great English but my partner is Spanish which does come in helpful of course. They were all so lovely and friendly. The pool staff and my partner got on like a light on fire and had great laughs while serving us and was just excellent. Everything down to the last detail ! The room was amazing as per usual with Hilton’s, I will say the bad reviews were making me nervous but when we were there we had no issues. and I must say the beds are very comfortable ( I did not want to wake up in the morning lol ) Yes it can be pricey staying here but that’s what a 5* hotel is🙂 and everyone’s service was excellent. The beach is only 5-10 minute walk from the hotel and same with shops for water and snacks :) I think the hotel is a reasonable price especially for the service you get and how lovely it really is! We will definitely be back 😁 Thank you all so much for making our stay welcoming and safe 🙌🏼🩷

I stayed at this nightmare of a hotel for 4 nights — easily the worst place I could have ended up in Barcelona! I booked a “panoramic” room, but there was absolutely nothing panoramic about it. The windows were so filthy, inside and out, that you couldn’t see a thing. The business lounge was chaotic, with people piling up food like they’d never seen it before — and to make matters worse, everything was frozen. The only positive note was the three Italian guys working at the pool; everything else was just forgettable. The bathroom smelled like stagnant water, the wardrobe was so dirty it made me feel sick, and the carpet was so filthy that walking barefoot felt like a health hazard. I’m sure management will reply with the usual “We’re sorry, we’ll do our best,” but the truth is, the hotel gets a steady stream of guests and clearly doesn’t invest a single euro to improve. A complete waste of money.
