Hotel Arts Barcelona

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Hotel Arts Barcelona during what was meant to be a confirmed site inspection for a wedding. Our clients travelled specifically to Spain to plan their wedding and had a scheduled visit with the hotel. However, upon arrival, they were informed that the inspection had not been confirmed even though with did with Eugenia. No one was able show the event spaces or guest rooms. This resulted in a complete waste of their time and a very poor impression, particularly given the reputation of the Ritz-Carlton brand. For a property of this level, the lack of coordination, communication, and basic professionalism is both surprising and unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to remove the hotel from consideration for the event.

We have organized our wedding clients site inspection, having very high expectations however our contact Eugenia never showed up informing clients that site inspection was never confirmed, when indeed it was. Her Deputy escorted the clients without real in depth interest for their wedding..Very unprofessional experience.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location with great views of the ocean and/or city. We were lucky to have views of both! The room and bathroom are huge and clean and the bed is very comfortable. There are not a lot of drawers (only 2 small ones) for your clothes, but plenty of space for hanging clothes. The maid button is with the light buttons and it took me a few times of not getting maid service to figure that out - they should point this out when you check in. You had to take a few elevators to get to the breakfast area and pool, but the staff was extremely helpful if you looked lost. The service is top notch and the food was yummy, except for the strange scrambled eggs at breakfast (not good at all). I used the exercise room daily - it's in a temporary location due to continued remodeling. Stay here and pamper yourself!

The view is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. All concierges were fantastic. The pool is nice and relaxing. Highly recommend.

I’ve always avoided staying at this hotel because being under the flag of Ritz-Carlton they tend to be stingy with elite member benefits. However, I got to stay here for 1 night and was blown away by the hotel. The room is beautiful, the staffs are proactive and warm, and the view is simply magical. The only downside would be its location close to the beach, which makes it far from major attractions of Barcelona. But for me, as I like to run by the Barceloneta, this worked in my favour. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I want to run by Barceloneta again.
