Great trip, great location and great hotel
A fantastic stay at the Gran Derby Suites. Location was perfect as was within walking distance to plenty of shops, bars and restaurant's and can easily get a taxi pretty much outside of the hotel. We had a Duplex room which was very clean and perfect for our stay (room smelled lovely). The only thing I would note is that you are not able to log into things like Netflix on the TV's unlike most places we stay. the hotel was exceptionally clean and it was great to have a swimming pool to relax around when we came back from a day of sightseeing (especially with the temperatures we had when there). Service was brilliant and someone was always on hand if we needed anything. All in all a great trip to Barcelona and we certainly picked the right place to stay. Would highly recommend

Surprising gem in urban Barcelona.
Lovely hotel in a quiet, urban neighborhood. Clean, well maintained and comfortable. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Easy check in process. Janice and Tati in the breakfast room are welcoming, polite and super efficient.

Exceptional staff and location
Exceptional experience. Staff was wonderful and gave us very good recommendations for restaurants. Location is walking distance to Avinguda Diagonal to catch train or buses. I would recommend including the breakfast. It was very nice variety and included fried or scrambled eggs made to order.
