The room was beautiful, the food luxurious and delicious and the decor was perfect- stylish and sexy and understated But honestly the staff were so friendly and what made it. Reception in particular were really personable and helpful and welcoming.Thomas is a treasure of Barcelona and a good reason to visit the city in and of itself! He was wonderfully generous in sharing his friendliness, knowledge of the area and a welcoming and warm presence in the hotel, making our whole stay joyful and memorable. Brilliant storyteller too - grateful for all his helpful concierging!

Wonderful hotel in a great neighborhood. The staff is what really makes this place. All restaurant recommendations were spot on, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and all the people we dealt with were first class and went out of their way to make you feel at home. Thank you Thomas, Ivon and all the ladies up front for a terrific visit. We were there for 3 nights. Breakfast was also top notch.

Upon arrival, we almost walked right past Hotel Neri entirely, because nothing about its quiet little medieval street signals that you're about to step into one of the best hotels in Barcelona. But that's exactly the point. You're right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter, which means the Cathedral, great restaurants, Las Ramblas — all of it is literally around the corner, yet somehow the streets surrounding the hotel are peaceful enough that you actually sleep. The buildings themselves date back to the 12th century, and you feel it in the best possible way — thick stone walls, hidden courtyards, the kind of bones that no new-build can fake. What really sets Neri apart, though, is the staff — they remember your name, they anticipate what you need, and they treat every guest like the visit actually matters to them. If you're planning a trip to Barcelona, stay here — you'll spend the whole flight home already plotting how to come back.
