Hotel Neri

The hotel was amazing. A little on the expensive side, but great all the same. The location couldn’t be better, in the middle of the Gothic Quarter. The room was simple, but comfortable and very clean. The best part though was the breakfast. I’d say it was the best breakfast we’ve ever had in a hotel. Maybe a little on the big side, but a great selection of food and great quality. Why I didn’t give it a full 5 stars was that the attention the breakfast staff gave was lacking. We spent over 5 minutes trying to get their attention for another coffee, while one of them was scrolling on their phone. For a hotel of that standard, we’d expect better. Whilst frustrated, it didn’t ruin what was a wonderful stay. Thanks for a wonderful experience, other than the scrolling!!

Our first time to Europe. We could not have stayed at a nicer hotel right in the heart of Barcelona. Hotel Neri has exceptional staff; they were so accommodating and anything we needed, they were able to provide. The Hotel provided a complimentary breakfast every am which was delicious. It is also off a quiet street with great restaurants nearby you just walk too. Please arrange your transportation through them. It is much easier and there will not be any issues. I hope you choose Hotel Neri for your stay. You will love it!

Excellent location, wonderful and helpful staff, comfortable room, fabulous breakfast. I would absolutely stay there again if I find myself back in Barcelona.

I also had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Neri around this time last year. It's a wonderful hotel, perfectly situated within walking distance of the Ramblas and the Liceu Metro stop. What's great is that it's just far enough from the main thoroughfare to offer a quiet and peaceful atmosphere at night. The hotel itself is very attractive, the rooms are comfortable, the restaurant serves good food, and the staff are exceptionally warm and friendly.

We weren’t in the main hotel; we stayed in Apartment 3 and it was brilliant. Our flat was spacious, the bed was super comfy and the shower worked and was hot (these are my key things!). Breakfast was made to order and was absolutely delicious (the poached eggs were the best). Even good on room service (no extra charge for that either). Neri is in the best location in the Gothic quarter and the staff are great - highly recommend.
