Hotel Neri

The Hotel Neri is a beautiful 12th century palace converted into a small boutique hotel in the gothic section of Barcelona. It is an exquisite building with great rooms. Centrally located. This was our second time in Barcelona and we have stayed at the Hotel Neri both times. The service, staff and food are also exceptional. The smell of Neroli candles permeates the hotel which adds to its charm and being memorable. We’ll be back.

spent a total of 4 nights with my family (2 adults, 2 kids under 10) at Hotel Neri. having never been to Barcelona, we found it to have ideal location tucked away in the gothic quarter. virtually every major sight was walkable, the food was excellent (we had breakfast and lunch/drinks) with a great indoor/outdoor seating option right in the middle of a beautiful and historic courtyard. the staff are *superb*. Ivan, Tatiana and Tomas were warm, responsive and utterly professional. due to the size of our group we stayed in the apartment style room (which was located in a building adjacent to hotel, just a few steps away) but service and room quality felt very attentive to even if we were not in the “main” hotel. there are a number of boutiques, bars, restaurants just steps away along with the cathedral and its bustling plaza. there are endless opportunities to walk and explore. while it was the height of tourist season, we did not feel any of the chaos within the hotel or the immediate area - an impressive feat! we regularly remarked that we would not hesitate come back to stay again at hotel neri, and hope to do it soon. using Amex/Fine Hotels did provide some nice additional advantages which were happily provided. we also used a car rental service through the hotel to get to costa brava for a few days - they made it so easy and convenient for us. baby sitting services were also an option and while we did not need to partake in them I thought it was lovely to have the option for visiting families. the hotel itself feels super peaceful and calm, but noise from local residents and eateries could get loud at night - so light sleepers should pack some earplugs. i cannot think of a single other suggestion that would have improved our stay further. thank you hotel neri!

We stayed at Hotel Neri prior to and just after a cruise and found it to be quite nice, in a great location, with a very attentive staff and comfortable surroundings.

We loved our stay at Hotel Neri. It was a perfect oasis from the throngs of tourists and the heat of the summer season. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful to start the day. The staff were incredibly helpful meeting us at the parking structure upon arrival, and ready to assist with recommendations and bookings throughout. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Stayed here two nights post cruise. Cabs can't get to the front of the hotel, so we were dropped off at a nearby plaza (all coordinated by the hotel.) Thomas came and got us and our luggage, then Ivan checked us in. Had to wait a little for the room to be ready- it was early morning- but the staff made us feel welcome. This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in= the room was excellent, systems all worked, fluffiest towels I've ever seen. The location is terrific, right around the corner from the magnificent Cathedral. We will stay here again! Great location, superb staff, breakfast well beyond expectations. Stay here!
