This is a chic and exclusive boutique hotel with 22 rooms and suites and 6 apartments. Located in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, Hotel Neri Relais & Châteaux is set in two historical and aristocratic houses, being one of them a medieval palace from the XII century. The building’s original period charm has been preserved and enhanced by the hotel’s sophisticated interior design. Its design blends with relaxing music and sensual aromas to create a unique setting in this ancient area of central Barcelona.

Upon arrival, we almost walked right past Hotel Neri entirely, because nothing about its quiet little medieval street signals that you're about to step into one of the best hotels in Barcelona. But that's exactly the point. You're right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter, which means the Cathedral, great restaurants, Las Ramblas — all of it is literally around the corner, yet somehow the streets surrounding the hotel are peaceful enough that you actually sleep. The buildings themselves date back to the 12th century, and you feel it in the best possible way — thick stone walls, hidden courtyards, the kind of bones that no new-build can fake. What really sets Neri apart, though, is the staff — they remember your name, they anticipate what you need, and they treat every guest like the visit actually matters to them. If you're planning a trip to Barcelona, stay here — you'll spend the whole flight home already plotting how to come back.

A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona's Old Town. Beautiful, spotlessly clean rooms, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast round out the experience.

Fantastic location, hotel is truly boutique and the staff were superb. We stayed in an apartment, and I wouldn’t consider the decor of this to be 5*, but the service was outstanding. Definitely would revisit

The hotel was amazing. A little on the expensive side, but great all the same. The location couldn’t be better, in the middle of the Gothic Quarter. The room was simple, but comfortable and very clean. The best part though was the breakfast. I’d say it was the best breakfast we’ve ever had in a hotel. Maybe a little on the big side, but a great selection of food and great quality. Why I didn’t give it a full 5 stars was that the attention the breakfast staff gave was lacking. We spent over 5 minutes trying to get their attention for another coffee, while one of them was scrolling on their phone. For a hotel of that standard, we’d expect better. Whilst frustrated, it didn’t ruin what was a wonderful stay. Thanks for a wonderful experience, other than the scrolling!!
