Hotel Ohla Barcelona

The moment we arrived at the Ohla we were greeted by such a warm lovely team and made to feel at home. The hotel is in a great location & only about a 6 min walk from from the cathedral and main square. We had a deluxe junior suite at the top of the hotel with views of the gothic quarter. It was a gorgeous room a comfy bed ( great linens and choice of pillows) and separate bathroom & dressing area. The shower was large & great pressure with lovely toiletries. The wifi was stable and strong & enough well placed plugs to recharge things. We had room service when we arrived and the food was soooo good ( not usually the case!) The gym is fairly basic but has enough kit to get a workout. There is also a sauna but sadly the day I wanted to use it it was switched off ( had been working the day before). The breakfast is very good with a wide range of things to choose from & the wait staff will prepare great coffee for you. This space also doubles as one of the restaurants which was very good. We did book to go the Michelin star restaurant Caelis for my birthday but decided to go elsewhere on the day as service only starts at 8pm & we were wiped out from the sightseeing! The roof top bar is also worth a visit ( it does get very busy!) with a great atmosphere, tasty cocktails and lovely views - not sure I would want to swim in the pool with so many people sittting around it!! I would happily stay here again & it made my trip to Barcelona very memorable.

I stayed for the weekend with my teenage daughter as her birthday treat and I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. The decor and rooms are beautiful. It’s got a really cool, modern vibe. The location is perfect and the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Always cheery. It really made it a lovey stay for us. I only wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

The Ohla Barcelona was exceptional. From arrival the front desk greeted us with chocolate truffles and had water for us. The room was very clean and had bottled water and a coffee pod machine. The bed very comfortable. We had breakfast included and they had everything you could possibly want. If you wanted your eggs prepared a certain way they would accommodate your request. The Breakfast exceeded my exceptions. The concierge was amazing he requested taxi's for us. Most spoke English. Also be careful using Uber. We had missed some rides due to location pickups. Yes we were charged for it. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. You are treated like a special guest. If you want the best service and luxury I highly recommend the Ohla. It is also in a prime location in the Gothic section.

Terrible breakfast, non guests prioritised in lifts versus guests, the list is endless....awful for a supposedly five star hotel, will definitely not return

Absolutely amazing hotel which we have already recommended to all of our family and friends. Perfect location in the gothic quarter with the majority of tourist attractions within 30 minutes walking distance. The staff at this hotel are wonderful and really cannot do enough for you. Thank you to everyone at Ohla Hotel for making our stay in Barcelona so memorable!
