A beautiful hotel in an outstanding location with an absolutely incredible staff (in particular: Raquel, Ardia, Ahmed and Baba). The guest room was lovely, the public areas very well appointed and the breakfast options were all delicious. Without reservation, this is the place to stay in Barcelona.

The Ohla Hotel is very special. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It is located ideally, only a block or two from the Cathedral. The food, nightlife, and easy walking to so many things are excellent. The cleanliness was impeccable! The staff was outstanding! We had an early flight out, and they packed us a "picnic" since we would not get their complimentary breakfast. I need a mobility scooter; they took it and stored it so we would have more room. I loved the secret place that our WC was in; it looked like part of the wall or cabinet. Push slightly on the wall and it opens to the WC. Very sleek. The shower was incredible. The staff told me that some people do not like it since it is 3-sided glass. It made the room feel so much bigger. The water pressure was fantastic. My husband now wants one like that when we build our next home. I can't say anything bad about this property; it was perfect for us.

Smart design , lovely room, rooftop pool / bar restaraunt and the ground floor restaraunt are tops. Attentive staff. Location is perfect - 4th time we have stayed there.

My partner and I had a fantastic week-long stay at the Hotel Ohla in early October. From start to finish it was a major part of our experience in Barcelona, not just a place to sleep. We stayed in the Dome Suite, at the very top of the hotel. It's a spectacular two-story suite, and the best part in our opinion is the outdoor terrace. We sat out there for an hour or two every night, just talking and soaking in the atmosphere. It has a beautiful, unobstructed view of several rooftops. We loved our visit in October since it was around 65-70 degrees every evening, perfect for relaxing on the terrace. I am extremely sensitive to noise, and my noise report is mostly (though not 100%) positive. I worried that we would hear music or noise from the rooftop bar and pool, which is literally right next to the Dome Suite (in fact if you crane your neck on the outdoor terrace you can see people at one of the outdoor tables at the bar). I didn't hear any such noise, and obviously there is no noise from the floor above since there is no floor above! But, we did hear a fair number of thuds, knocking noises, bumps, and other random noises throughout the day. I believe that's largely because there is one other, small room on the same floor, so you'll hear when housekeeping is there or guests are coming and going. Really not a huge deal, and again I'm extremely noise sensitive and this noise only registered as a very minor nuisance for me. The suite itself is really comfortable, with a downstairs tv area and large table, and upstairs bedroom and very long, spacious closet area. One slightly quirky thing is that the shower is pretty exposed, so if you're used to a lot of privacy it takes a bit of getting used to. Overall, we thought it was a very, very comfortable, clean, spacious, unique place to stay. The staff was uniformly outstanding. If management is reading this, thank you for your hospitality! Everyone was very attentive, polite, and helpful. We had one kind of funny experience that sums up the staff on our check-out morning, when we asked the person at the front desk if he could help us get a taxi to the airport. He said he was happy to help and stepped away, and we assumed we was calling a cab company. As it turns out, he had immediately walked out to the street and was standing there at 6am hailing a taxi for us. That was really nice of him and we appreciated the gesture. We actually didn't ever go to the rooftop bar, and we didn't dine at the restaurant. We had breakfast each morning and thought it was quite good, with a mix of hot foods, a spread of pastries and breads, and just about everything else you could want. The location of the hotel is fantastic. We went to a performance at the Palau theater which is literally a block or two away, and walked to virtually all the major sights. It's on a fairly busy street but it's mere feet to many of the quieter, quainter, charming old town alleys and restaurants. Overall, this is a hotel that clearly strives for excellence, and it shows. The highlights for us were the unique Dome Suite and the very professional, welcoming staff, but the hotel has many other nice qualifies as well. We would recommend it without hesitation.

During our stay at Hotel Ohla Barcelona, we were blown away by the blend of modern luxury and historic charm. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views of Passeig de Gràcia and the Sagrada Família, especially at sunset. The staff were exceptionally attentive, greeting us by name and even surprising us with a complimentary glass of cava. Waking up for breakfast in their elegant dining room was unforgettable—a perfect mix of comfort, culture, and elegance in the heart of Barcelona.
