Wake to a beautiful day on your first morning, and enjoy a fabulous breakfast at Contraste Restaurant or at iQ smart fresh food, with a menu carefully designed by a nutritionist. Venture out for the day to discover this amazing city, and start with a stroll down the famed La Rambla. Enjoy fantastic and eclectic shopping, vibrant street performances, and delightful cafés where you can sit, relax and people watch. Make your way to La Sagrada Familia, a magnificent temple designed by Anton Gaudi and begun in 1881, where you can marvel at its massive structure, which is still being constructed today. Continue on to Gaudi's psychedelic Park Guell, on a hill overlooking the city, and enjoy a pleasantly strange afternoon amongst serpentine benches, brilliant tile mosaics, giant decorative lizards, and gingerbread-styled houses. In the afternoon stop in at a lovely café for a true taste of Barcelona and enjoy fabulous fresh seafood and pintxos, the delightful tapas-styled local snacks. Take the rest of the afternoon to relax with a sail along the Mediterranean coast, or be moved by an astounding performance at the Gran Teatre del Liceu or L'Auditori. That night, return to the hotel for a well-deserved massage at AQUA Diagonal Spa, then enjoy a fun-filled dinner in the hotel's very own German Biergarten. At Hotel Sofia, every day is truly this magical.

First time traveling to Barcelona and I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The Hyatt offered world-class amenities, friendly service, and excellent dining options. It’s also very conveniently located near transportation. Highly recommend, and I would definitely stay here again.

Review for Grand Hyatt Massage Experience This was my first time getting a massage at the Grand Hyatt, and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. From the start, the environment was not at all relaxing. The massage room was brightly lit, with upbeat and loud music playing, which completely took away from any sense of calm. Instead of proper sheets and a blanket on the massage bed, towels were used, which felt cheap and uncomfortable. The room itself was cold, and to make matters worse, the massage therapist stepped out of the room twice during the 50-minute session. There were also repeated interruptions and disruptions throughout, which made it impossible to relax. For $100, I expected a high-quality, peaceful, and professional spa experience, but this did not come close. At best, I would have been comfortable paying around $45 for what was provided. Sadly, it was not worth the price, and I left feeling more frustrated than rejuvenated.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff and excellent restaurants. Would highly recommend it. The rooftop bar and restaurant gives some brilliant views of the city.

Great location, facilities, and service. The staff helped with every request, including sending out letters, planning a day trip to Montserrat, and recommending the best flan (thanks Maria). I ended up relying on the staff for much of my Barcelona stay, and was really impressed with their hospitality. Also shoutout to Julian for making checkin a breeze and helping us have a great stay.
