Exuding the vibrant spirit of artist Antonio Gaudi, Le Méridien Barcelona has been recognized as “Monument” by the Barcelona Hotel Association due to its long historical heritage and contribution to the city’s history. When not exploring the city, you can hide away in a guest room or stunning top floor suite, whose sumptuous European luxury has attracted a wealth of luminaries, from Pavarotti to the Rolling Stones. As for dining, seeing and being seen, there is no better hotspot than Cent Onze.

I had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Barcelona. The location is excellent, right on La Rambla, within walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and major attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I did have a small issue with my original room, but the team handled it quickly and efficiently, moving me to a new room without any hassle. Their professionalism and attentiveness made all the difference. Overall, a great stay and I would happily return!

Very disappointing - we booked through the Marriot app (I have been a loyalty member for 11 years with 224 hotel nights ). It took some 20 mins to check in at reception- additional credit card needed, fill in forms with address, provide passport etc - all of this is in the app. We booked a premium room and were given room 236. It smelt awful- musty and damp. We were told it had been recently refurbished. It hadn’t, it was tired, the rug on the floor dirty, scratched floor. We asked to move and were shown to room 320. It smelt fine but didn’t seem to be a premier room, 2 members of staff told me it was just deluxe and reception told me it was premium, so someone isn’t being honest. All this for €389 per night. Terrible value.

Awesome hotel in a perfect location with easy access to the shops, restaurants and taxis. I used my option to upgrade to a suite…and it was totally worth it! The balcony was incredible, the bathroom was spacious and the welcome gift/sign was much appreciated! We really enjoyed our stay!

I spent 5 days at this hotel as part of a company training session, and although I wasn’t staying overnight, I was on the property for around 8 hours each day. I was truly impressed by the hospitality — the staff was consistently amazing, polite, and always positive and helpful. Their professionalism made a great impression. The food provided during our sessions was also delicious and well-prepared. Overall, the atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended for both business and events!

This is a nice property in the heart of La Ramblas. We had a great stay here. The staff were excellent, the food in the restaurant was very good and the location is convenient. The whole area outside of the hotel is under construction and will be for the foreseeable future. I guess the city is updating the piping under the street and for as long as you could see the construction fencing was up. This did not prevent you from walking around but you did have to detour around certain areas. Our room was in excellent condition and housekeeping provided excellent service. The hotel had an extensive breakfast buffet and omelettes cooked to order. We had dinner in the restaurant on two evenings and our dishes were very tasty and filling. The bar served very good mixed drinks, wine and beer. Over all this is a great property with superb staff and we would highly recommend this property for your stay in Barcelona.

We enjoyed our room at the hotel though for a lot more money it wasn’t really much better than our Sofitel Munich stay which was much less per night. The location of the hotel and the service there was great.
The dinner at the hotel, for which we received a lovely 50 euro amenity was one we wish we had skipped. It was the worst paella we have ever had anywhere including several times in Spain. One starter was very good but the other 2 were not very good.
