Exuding the vibrant spirit of artist Antonio Gaudi, Le Méridien Barcelona has been recognized as “Monument” by the Barcelona Hotel Association due to its long historical heritage and contribution to the city’s history. When not exploring the city, you can hide away in a guest room or stunning top floor suite, whose sumptuous European luxury has attracted a wealth of luminaries, from Pavarotti to the Rolling Stones. As for dining, seeing and being seen, there is no better hotspot than Cent Onze.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here. Before arriving, I had worked with 3 members of the concierge staff, Bruno, Ricardo, and Bruna who recommended restaurants (Rao and Alegoria) and a 4 hour guided/private walking tour for us. Upon arrival, we met the lovely Galician, Christina who directed us to where we would dine. We got over jet-lag by using the great service of Catalina in their small Spa. The Argentinian Eugina gave us great advice on things to do. Breakfast is connected to the hotel and is open to the public. Best advice is to ask for a back side hotel room to avoid street noise

This was probably one of the best Marriotts I stayed at in a long time. This property is not only beautiful but in a prime location. Shout out to Robin and Andrea for all their help. The staff there was really awesome. I had a minor issue the first day but the manager rectified it immediately. Since I am an ambassador status member I received an upgrade without hassle which really made my stay even more amazing. When i needed to extend my stay 2 more nights, they did it without moving me to another room.

This was a one day extension at the end of a cruise so we literally only used this room as a base for a guided tour of Barcelona and to shower and sleep ahead of a very early flight the following day. The location is perfect with vibrant city life just outside the main entrance and is very close to great tapas bars, restaurants, shopping, architecture and history ... all within a short walk on La Rambla. The room was cool and clean. There was a protest going on with an idiot on a megaphone griping about something until late but that was no fault of the hotel. We drowned it out with the TV. We left too early to appreciate the buffet and we did not use the onsite restaurant (with 20% hotel coupon) as we wanted to walk and see all we could in the short time we had. The hotel had hot, fresh coffee and croissants available for us in the lobby at our early departure. Staff were very pleasant and able to assist us in English. I must restate that this location was perfect for our needs as it was close to everything and an easy trip to the airport.

Fantastic one night stay before a cruise, great bathroom, AC, perfect location for walking around the Ramblas area, and fantastic staff that not only upgraded me, but let us check in many hours early. 5+ star experience.

The Hotel sits at La Rambla, only 200 m away from the Placa de Catalunya. Old building but nicely renovated in a modern style. Our room was small, with a worn carpet. Thin walls, you can hear your neighbour cough. Good shower. Ok fitness center though no multigym station. There is a spa studio and a very small outdoor pool with an adjacent small terrace on the top floor. But no sun umbrella. Good concierge service. Restaurant Cent Once for good breakfast buffet. Room prices more on the higher side i. e. the hotel is quite expensive.
