Reviews for Le Meridien Barcelona

Don't waste your money

The guards inside the front door check only Americans for ID .even if you just go to the store and back and they obviously recognize you. So you have to put down your bags get your passport out everytime you walk in. Also get fresh towels is like pulling teeth. I finely had to take towels off a cart in the hallway. Should be rated as 2 star. Total joke , waste of a vacation. Done with Marriotts

Room service is non existent. Im pretty sure they wait till your in the room like at 430pm an then ask if you want room services, just tobget towels i had to ask 3 times . Finally after 3 or 4 hours i took some off the cart in the hallway that had sitting there all day. Cant believe its 4 or 5 star's shout be 3 max maybe 2. Plus when ask nicely about towels thay act likebyour putting them out. Am not going to beg for towels from anyone. I got some from the store and bring them to the wash and fold. They treat tourists like dirt

Lovely hotel-in a great location-excellent service-nice rooms-great concierge-and front desk team-steps away from the ramblas- a bit noisy due to the construction work on the ramblas- close to multiple restaurants and bars-supermarket -10 meters away what one wold expect from a le meridian chain

We enjoyed our room at the hotel though for a lot more money it wasn’t really much better than our Sofitel Munich stay which was much less per night. The location of the hotel and the service there was great.

The dinner at the hotel, for which we received a lovely 50 euro amenity was one we wish we had skipped. It was the worst paella we have ever had anywhere including several times in Spain. One starter was very good but the other 2 were not very good.
