Had amazing service the moment I entered this hotel. We were greeted by Kenza with a smile, sincerity and professionalism. We were able to check in early which was monumental because we just landed from an over night flight. We were able to shower and head over to our tour at the Sagrada Familia. This was all due to Kenza. Even on the day of check out Kenza went out of her way to help me find a shop that was open that sold jamon. Shout out to Kanza!! The hotel room were well appointed and clean. Location was ideal. Everything about this hotel was amazing. I will definitely be staying there again when I return to Barcelona.

Great location that made walking very easy to sights and transportation. The staff and service was the best that I have ever experienced whilst staying in Barcelona. They made my birthday most special! I will most certainly book this property again upon my next visit to the great city.

Stayed here the second weekend in August. The people are great at this hotel. Very willing to help with nearly anything. Our luggage got lost, they offered to call the airline to help with delivery on more than one occasion. Was willing to help us find stores to shop as well. Location is pretty good. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby on La Rambla. There is a lot of construction on La Rambla also, so while it was easy to get catch a cab outside the hotel, not always easy to get dropped off as a lot of cabbies didn't want to deal with the construction. Super important- If you use the side street address (Pintor Fortuny) you have a better chance of getting dropped at the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The ac worked great. We were very close to the elevator and never heard it. Every once in a while, we felt a rumbling-I think this was the subway nearby. You couldn't hear anything though. If we wanted ice we had to request it to be delivered to the room. Hair dryer only blew cold air-not sure if this was a mal-function or we just couldn't figure it out. Flat iron was also included in the room-nice feature when your luggage is missing. View was not so great-but you are in the middle of a city-this was not a deal breaker for us. Fridge worked well also and while there was mini-bar items, there was also a shelf for us to add water or soda. Free water is provided in the room and usually at the door upon coming back from an outing. Spa was nice with a steam room, sauna and a little plunge pool. Roof top deck was cute, but not really a place to get tapas or drinks serviced easily. Hotel restaurant - we had breakfast included with the room and ate there for dinner one night. Dinner was Paella-not that great. The seafood was overcooked, flavor was ok. Breakfast was great the first day-but the same every day after that. Would have been nice to have some berries like strawberries, blueberries or blackberries to add to cereal or as a topping to pancakes or yogurt. I would say, skip the "included breakfast" and just order a la carte. Overall, we enjoyed our trip to Barcelona aside from the lost luggage and construction.

My family and I spent a few nights here post-cruise in Barcelona and enjoyed our stay. We booked the Family suite and it was a nice, large room with a sofa bed that actually split into 2 individual twin sized beds which was great for my kids (9 and 11). Only had 3 complaints about the room. #1 the living room area by the window was noticeably warmer than the rest of the suite. It wasn't too warm to sleep though. #2 the suite only had 1 bathroom and it was accessed through the main bedroom. #3 once the beds were made up, there was really nowhere to sit in the room. There was a large table in the room, but only a single office type chair. The space could've easily fit 3-4 chairs We knew we were going to arrive really early (8:30ish) so I booked the night prior and the front desk was able to work with me and ensure that we wouldn't be marked as a no show which I appreciated. Being able to get into the room right away and repack some bags after the cruise was a big help. Bellmen were also very helpful because there are 3-4 steps from street level to the hotel which can be challenge with bags. Kids also loved the complimentary candies and marshmallows in the lobby. Breakfast in the mornings were good. The variety of options were tasty, but the only place to get eggs was at the egg station. If you're there during peak breakfast hours, expect a bit of a wait as there is 1 person with 2 burners and they can only go so fast. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future

We enjoyed our room at the hotel though for a lot more money it wasn’t really much better than our Sofitel Munich stay which was much less per night. The location of the hotel and the service there was great.
The dinner at the hotel, for which we received a lovely 50 euro amenity was one we wish we had skipped. It was the worst paella we have ever had anywhere including several times in Spain. One starter was very good but the other 2 were not very good.
