Beautiful hotel in amazing quiet area
We had an amazing time at the Mercer hotel.. the hotel is located in a super quiet and fascinating part of the gothic quarter and the hotel is gorgeous.. very convenient to everything ( subway, food, entertainment ) yet it feels peaceful and serene. Most importantly. the staff is incredible.. I highly recommend it.

Go for Gothic
A lovely place in the heart of the Gothic Quarter nestled INSIDE a Roman wall ruin. The staff is friendly and helpful to say the least. They made excellent recommendations for dinner and made reservations. The hotel is just a block or so from a major tube stop so coming and going to different parts of the city was extremely easy. Two thumbs up!!!

A charming hotel in the Gothic Quarter
This is a fabulous boutique hotel in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. We stayed here for 4 nights in late October. This was our first visit to Barcelona and the hotel and staff in particular exceeded our expectations. As a tourist, the Gothic Quarter is an ideal location - it has lots of restaurants and bars, many with tables outside and is largely pedestrianised. Even in October, Barcelona is busy with tourists, but the hotel provides an excellent escape from the crowds.

Everything is perfect in Mercer Hotel - facilities, rooms, design, location and staff. Tastefull, beautifull, very friendly, luxurious are some of the words to describe our fabulous days in Barcelona.
