NH Collection Constanza

The check in was smooth. The room was of a decent size but we noticed a faint damp, musty smell each time we entered it. We also noticed finger marks over some of the surfaces which remained there for all of our stay. So obviously not cleaned properly. The outer door handle was loose and the kettle lid was loose, so we had to get these repairs. Also we had to ask for the shower gel dispenser to be replenished, when this should have been done as a matter of course. The TV reception was very poor and kept cutting out. The same for the free wifi as well. So we gave up with both. The room was a reasonable size and we liked the blackout blinds. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was fair. The breakfast was very poor. There was a poor choice of hot food, why no tomatoes, mushrooms or baked beans? In fact the hot food was not hot. It was lukewarm at best and the scrambled eggs were actually cold. We gave up with it after the first day. So it was very poor quality and value.

We really enjoyed our stay at the NH Collection Barcelona Constanza. We attended an FC Barcelona match—it's a 25-minute walk from the hotel—which is very convenient, as the roads near the Camp Nou stadium are closed by police on matchdays. Shopping centers are also located very close to the hotel. The food at the hotel is excellent; I was traveling with children and had no problems finding the right food. There's a police station next to the hotel, so security is extremely high.

Really loved our stay here. Rooms were large, modern, clean and quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful, couldn't do enough for us. Well positioned for us, lots of nearby restaurants, cafes and bars and a good shopping centre within easy reach of the metro and walking distance to the Bullring

Memorable experience. The only challenge was that my official business card did not work at the reception POS, so had to locate an ATM for cash withdrawal. Same card however works at the restaurant POS machine. Aside the POS challenge the rooms were homey and neat. It is also an excellent location to a number of shopping centers.

Great hotel, lovely rooms, coffee machine, went for my sons birthday to watch a match, the guest relations department ‘Sara Martinez’ did an amazing sweet surprise for my son in the room, he was so thrilled and she was so accommodating, truly great experience. Great location for stadium and hop on off bus.
