We had spacious 2 bedroom suite for parents and two teens. Luckily we had chance to spend two more nights when our flight was postponed. Hotel arranged us surprise when we arrived to room from city trip. There was kind letter where hotel welcomed us for two more nights and very fine pastry tray with Barcelona silhouette made in powdered sugar. Every day housekeeping asked if everything is well in the room. Never seen this kind of service! Also kind receptionist took care that we will get breakfast box to our very early leave on last morning.

Hotel is in the business district and has a lovely shopping centre attached. You can catch the city tour bus outside the shopping centre which is accessed on the first floor of hotel if you walk across to the centre and bus stops outside. The metro is on the same street a little further up. Bedrooms are very spacious and the rooftop pool is very small with no sun protection and perhaps 10 sunbeds. We paid to use the hydro spa pool which was lovely. Our room didn’t get freshened up until around 5pm which was late and that was given we had been out since 10am leaving the tag outside to say clean the room, it was very disappointing to return and not be able to jump in the shower to cool down. They were giving us door tags to save the planet when we arrived saying that we would receive a free drink in the bar if we didn’t use the cleaning service. The hotel was very busy with a lot of cruise goers with a few cruise lines represented with reps. We were also told that they prioritise leavers rooms which is a bit galling if you are staying for 4 nights as we were. The breakfast was lovely plenty of variety and restocked continuously. We tried their Mexican restaurant using the 15% discount voucher found in the room but very small portions and my Iberian pork and crab nacho didn’t taste of any crab and cost around €22. There are a good few bars especially eltap which has great taps and craft ales we found another bar Lucas a few streets away which was good for wine and tapas. If you want all to the Gaudi dragon gate there is a tapas bar just along from it does a daily menu for €20 includes lobster rice and was first class.

Wife and I stayed three nights at the Hotel Constanza Barcelona after the Disney Cruise — Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights, checking out Tuesday morning. We had an excellent experience throughout our stay. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The staff kindly held our luggage until our room was ready, assisted with our bags, and promptly arranged taxis when needed. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and the hotel overall was exceptionally well maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, which made the stay even more relaxing. The rooftop pool area was especially relaxing and very nicely done. The room also included bathrobes and slippers, which was a very nice touch. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an excellent selection of breakfast items each morning. The staff gladly prepared made-to-order omelets for us several times during our stay. The food service team was hardworking, efficient, professional, and genuinely eager to provide excellent service. The quality of the food and overall breakfast experience was exceptionally well done. Although the hotel is considered more of a business hotel, my wife and I stayed there for sightseeing and leisure following a cruise, and it worked perfectly for us. The location was excellent — just a short walk to the L3 Metro line, which provided quick and easy access into downtown Barcelona within minutes. There is no need to stay in the middle of the noise and congestion of the city center to enjoy Barcelona. We found this location far more relaxing and comfortable while still being very convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. Housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, and restaurant staff were all consistently kind, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and strongly recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Barcelona.

Highly recommended. Walking distance from great cafes and restaurants. Very safe, we walked every morning to local cafes and at night to dinner. Taxi-stand across the street. Great staying outside city center, able to enjoy/experience the local culture/cuisine. Staff very helpful in identifying high quality restaurants, especially Maria as reception.
