The NH Collection Barcelona Constanza hotel is in the heart of Barcelona’s business district, next to Avenida Diagonal and L'illa shopping center. The building itself is an avant-garde creation by the famous Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, housing 308 rooms on 6 floors.

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and extremely comfortable. We slept really well, and the breakfast was amazing with a great variety of options. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

For 2 nights this was ok. Room was clean, comfortable & spacious. But hugely disappointed by the lack of a proper shower - shower attachments in a shower cubicle are a pet hate for me. Did feel the ensuite in general was in need of refurbishing. Sadly I didn’t find the staff overly helpful/ friendly when requesting recommendtions on local restaurants or attractions but it is situated in a good location. It is next door to the L’illa shopping centre & being away from the hustle & bustle of the city centre was nice.

For this quick trip the NH Collection Constanza was perfect for me, though there were some odd problems in the way the hotel is run. First of all, at the gym (which was rather tiny), there were towels but no water (either in bottles or in the dispenser which wasn't working). Luckily I had my own water. At the pool (which was also tiny), I got the last towel, and no one was around to replenish them. Finally in my room, there was a Nespresso machine, cups and sugar, but absolutely no spoon to stir things with! Lucky for me, I don't take sugar in my coffee, but I wonder how this could happen. The hotel was also a bit cheap with the complimentary bottled water they leave in the room: one bottle a day is not enough. On the positive side, the room was very tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant if not exceptional. But the Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel was a big disappointment. (I'll review it as well). All in all, I'd hesitate to go back.

Nice hotel big rooms and small pool, away from crowded tourist areas. Food selection at the breakfast buffet should improve!

Good hotel near restaurants and shops. Older style rooms but good and clean. Helpful reception staff with printing and local recommendations.
