NH Collection Constanza

After a long flight it was an absolute delight to find that our room was ready for occupancy. Front desk staff was most helpful in getting our luggage to the room promptly and providing maps and detailed instructions to locales we wished to visit. Location was great. Very close to metros and a huge shopping center next door. Yet the rooms were most quiet and beds very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was extensive and hours most convenient.

Great hotel following cruise. Check in a little slow but related to bus load of guests and most room not available at @11am. Great about check luggage so we could go out on our tours. Breakfast included was good, nice selection, kids options, staff pleasant. Elevators a little slow during busy times and floors a little confusing. Cabs and Ubers easily obtained and hotel is a little distant from most tourist spots. Cabs are efficient and lower cost than most Ubers and can be requested thru the Uber app. Rooms large, quiet with good black out blinds, showers powerful! Stayed in 359 and very quiet with little traffic outside Would stay there again.

Bottom line upfront: A reliable, modern business hotel in Barcelona with well-equipped rooms, a nice atmosphere and an excellent location directly at a mall with restaurants and a small park nearby. Great for business travellers and conference attendees. One real pain point: when the hotel fills up (e.g. during a conference), the elevators simply cannot cope with the volume and waiting times get long. I stayed at the NH Collection Constanza Barcelona for a business conference and had a positive overall experience — exactly what you want from a well-run business hotel. The rooms: Well-equipped, modern and comfortable. Everything you need for a productive business stay, with no missing basics. Location: One of the strongest points of this hotel. It sits directly next to a shopping mall, with several restaurants on the back side and a small, pleasant park with cafés and additional dining options. For a quick lunch between sessions or a relaxed dinner after a long day of meetings, you don't have to go far at all. Atmosphere: Modern, well-designed, with a nice contemporary feel throughout — more character than the average chain business hotel. The one real issue — elevators: During the conference, with hundreds of people trying to get to their rooms around the same time (morning check-in, breaks, end of sessions), the elevator capacity was clearly insufficient. Waiting times stretched noticeably, which is frustrating when you need to get ready between sessions or when you're trying to leave for a meeting on time. For a hotel that regularly hosts larger events, this is a design limitation worth flagging. Overall, I would stay here again for business — the location and room quality more than compensate for the elevator issue in normal times. For peak conference days, plan a bit of buffer.

We arrived at 2.35pm to be told our room wasn’t ready yet, which was a standard room with a walk in shower. However if we would except a different room with just a bath we could have it straight away, We declined , but explained we needed our room at 3pm (check in time ) due to the fact we had a show and dinner reservation and needed to leave the hotel by 4pm. When we returned at 3pm, we were given our room , which still turned out to be the room with a bath. No time to complain , before we had to depart. On top of that the room was above the children’s play area and the Hotel’s restaurant and many others linked to the near by Shopping centre. Please do not stay here if you want a peaceful nights sleep and a nice shower.

Perfect set-up for work. Large desk, a lot of light, coffee, AC. I recommend for business work.
