Nobu Hotel Barcelona

The location is very conveniently located next to Sants Station. The decor is a bit blend and tired both indoors common spaces and the rooms, which are rather large and with great views over the city. Service is friendly, but the overall experience is not up to a 5 star level: the rooftop bar and especially the pool are not very impressive. Tried once but do not feel like I will be back until they go for a massive renovation.

Wouldn’t let us into the rooftop as said we needed a ticket, when it was two girls dressed up and one guy. Then let in two girls straight after us when they said the same thing. I understand we’re with a boy but also it’s not fair. Can’t the girlies and the gay enjoy a rooftop in Barcelona

We were excited to stay at NOBU and paid for two Umi suites as there was 5 of us. Although the experience was positive, there were some negatives, like the construction work, had I known this was going on I wouldn't have booked, I feel Nobu have a responsibility here to beclare the disturbance, I understand its out of their control, however paying customers should be told before booking. I like to sleep in a bit on my down time, unfortunately I wasn't able to this due to the time the construction starts. Secondly, one of the suites 1910 had an odd smell in it, kinda like blocked drains / WC, we reported it, went out, came back to the same smell. We thought maybe it'll be sorted the next day, we went out early came back late to the same smell, went to report it again, got told that maintenance or housekeeping would come to see, but nothing, no one came. Next day again I reported it, which was the day of departure, to be told it will be fixed today, which I said it's too late for us as we're going, this really did ruin our enjoyment of the suite, which was the whole point of booking one. All the staff were very friendly, but not sure they took our concerns seriously, staff at the roof top bar were great, as well as the staff at breakfast, which is great, plenty of choice and an incredible view.

Great location, central but not in a packed area with great transport options to all the main areas. Staff were amazing, biggest asset to the hotel, rooms are superb, clean modern and very sheik feeling. Bathrooms are an absolute experience, especially the bath. Special mention for Alyandro on reception and the bellboys, super attentive, proactive and managed all our requests perfectly.

We went to the restaurant on a Saturday evening and had a great time we enjoyed everything and specially the service was amazing Thank you Nastia for the great evening
