The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa

Practically Perfect in every way!! I stayed one night with my mum on a hot summer’s day in July and we throughly enjoyed our stay. First stop the reception and checking in process were a breeze and the concierge were a delight and kindly valet parked our car and brought our luggage to our room. We arrived at 2 pm and although check in is 3pm we were showed to our room. A junior suite on the ground floor meet and exceeded my expectations, high end interiors, fine bed linen and super comfy pillows, we took afternoon tea on the lawn surrounding the hotel’s beautiful English countryside garden, an absolute delight. Coffee could have been better but I didn’t come her for the coffee so cest le vie, we didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as nothing on the menu appealed, that’s not to say it wasn’t good. Breakfast was lovely with everything you would expect from a high end hotel, only complaint is that my poached egg was slightly a little undercooked, All the staff I encountered were very pleasant and I noticed they were all over a certain age which meant the service was better than a lot of places I have visited. I generally feel a lot of hotels and restaurants hire students or school leavers that lack experience and when you’re paying a premium for high end establishments they just don’t cut it for me. We were very excited to visit Bath as a part of our UK trip this July. This hotel is not just a hotel, it is an absolute destination in and of itself. Beautifully appointed rooms, fantastic garden courtyard, and excellent food. Service is beyond reproach. Will absolutely come again for a longer stay and spa experience.

We’ve been to the Royal Crescent before but this was our best stay. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite - a huge bedroom, sitting room and hall. All the staff were amazing and the food in the restaurant was outstanding. We cannot imagine any other hotel in the UK matching this experience and we’ve been to many great ones.

The staff at reception (Zoltan & Donna in particular) were outstanding-extremely helpful & pleasant. Mark the concierge was very helpful. Rebecca my massage therapist was very talented & sensitive to my needs. The suite I stayed in was unparalleled-extremely spacious & well appointed. My experience in the fitness room was terrific as was my massage with Rebecca. The grounds were lovely. Alfie the mascot cat was an adorable addition. A fantastic stay overall!
