The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Royal Crescent Hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful interiors and gorgeous gardens, but what really stood out for us was the exceptional warmth and friendliness of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. I unfortunately can’t remember the name of the gentleman who greeted us and showed us to our room, but he was incredibly warm and attentive, and made such a lovely first impression. We were also delighted to discover that our room had been upgraded, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant during our stay, and that was another highlight. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and full of flavour, but once again it was the service that made the experience feel so special. Everyone was attentive, friendly and professional, while still making the evening feel relaxed and personal. Bath has always been our favourite city, and after this stay we now know exactly where we will be staying whenever we return. A huge thank you to the whole team at The Royal Crescent Hotel for making our stay so memorable. We are already looking forward to coming back.

This is the best place to come for meal, drink or even just a cup of tea and scone. Team always going above and beyond.

This hotel needs to be avoided at all cost. I have to say they staff at front of house today 14/9/2026. Was by far the rudest person I have even met.

I was in Bath, we went into this hotel to have a look around and hopefully book lunch. Person at desk informed me not opened to the public. I felt instantly unwelcomed and judged. I did not stay as felt my money could be spent in a better more appreciated environment.

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary. It was like home from home! The attention to detail and the friendly staff, all in the most beautiful setting. Our room was clean and luxurious and the breakfast was incredible. Thank you for making our celebration so special.
