Fabulous

This hotel is stunning, the ambience, the location and finishes in the room couldn't be faulted. The service was great, some lovely staff and the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was fabulous. We had a great stay. Bath is beautiful and couldn't recommend a better hotel to stay in - really is a must do!

The ultimate luxury location for a stay in Bath

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

There is no more iconic location to stay in Bath than the Royal Crescent (as noted by the constant flow of tourists visiting to take photos of the amazing buildings of this “block.” We were lucky enough to get to stay here during a brief stay to explore Bath and Stonehenge, and we felt like elegant characters in Bridgerton here (the Featherington home is No 1 Royal Crescent). We were very lucky to be upgraded to a suite with a view of the crescent, and felt like royalty. Service was top notch, and this felt more like staying in someone’s mansion than a hotel. There was a gorgeous back garden area several houses wide, and the restaurant was beautiful and elegant. There was a nice lounge with snacks and drinks, and as a bonus the hotel had a resident feline (Alfie) who patrolled the stairs. Truly a special occasion place to stay if you’re headed to Bath.

A faultless stay at this outstanding hotel. Would award SIX STARS if we could.

This must surely be the best hotel in Bath. Occupying a privileged position on the world famous Royal Crescent, the hotel is just a short walk from everything that Bath has to offer. The restoration of this Grade 1 listed heritage asset is highly impressive and the interior of the hotel retains all of it's original Georgian character whilst brimming with modern luxuries. We stayed in a lovely Heritage Room that overlooked the hotel's beautiful gardens. The room was spacious and excellent. The bathroom was rather on the small side, but this really didn't bother us, and please remember that most of the building dates from the 1700's, so some minor layout compromises should be expected. We ate breakfast at the hotel each day, had lunch in the garden one day, and enjoyed drinks in the bar each day. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly. Also worthy of note was the overall vibe of the hotel, which felt discrete, upmarket (but relaxed), and truly very special indeed. We loved our three night stay at this world-class hotel, and will return at the soonest available opportunity.
