Inn at Bay Harbor, Autograph Collection

We spent our anniversary at this fabulous resort! The room was amazing and the food was great! In particular the morning breakfast bar with omelettes and pasteries fruits and more was incredible.

Our first visit to northern Michigan was wonderful . The inn at bay harbor is an outstanding hotel. Rooms are clean, beds are super comfortable and grounds are immaculate. The sunsets are amazing. The staff was top notch with a special shoutout to Theresa at the front desk. Extremely helpful and delightful to work with. If you are traveling to the Charlevoix/Petoskey/Mackinac island area, highly recommend you stay at the Inn at BayHarbor

The Buffett for breakfast has everything you could want. Bacon, eggs, watermelon juice. On the menu, there is candy bacon which is phenomenal. Service is incredible. Specifically my man TOMMY. DA GOAT

This hotel is very classy and the views are outstanding. Beautiful sunsets. Grounds are picturesque. Having a stocked laundry room was a huge plus. We were upgraded to a one bedroom which was very comfortable and stunning although it did not face the bay. Always someone to open the doors as you came and went. Parking was good. Afternoon tea was such a nice touch. We did have a few issues. There were cleanliness issues including hair in our shower when we arrived, a bag of trash left on the patio and the pool was not clean. The pool did have high end lounge chairs, complimentary sunscreen and plush towels. The bar at the pool was a nice touch. The coffee shop was nice and offered outdoor seating, however, both mornings there was a patron in there doing a zoom meeting and talking loudly. We had just come from the Detroit Athletic Club who has a sign posted in their coffee cafe saying zoom meetings and talking on cell phones not allowed. This policy should be implemented at this hotel. When we arrived, the tv had an option for hotel amenities, however, it does not work. The front desk notified IT but it was never fixed. Theresa at the front desk was very helpful and gave me a mini tour of the hotel. She also gave me written literature on the amenities. Regarding the written information on the spa, it only gave a QR code to book a service with no phone number. This is very impersonal. Also, I did not like the hotels cashless policy.

We totally enjoyed our three night stay in July. The location of the hotel on Little Traverse Bay is just spectacular. Add in the beautiful landscaping and you will feel like you have escaped to a little slice of paradise! We experienced excellent customer service during our stay, from the sweet treats at the pool to the kind servers at the breakfast buffet. We hope to return next summer!
