Reviews for Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Great place, we had a few issues!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue. I have photos of the room we were originally given and of the public restrooms that are awful. We were very grateful for a room upgrade due to the room not being cleaned, but upon trying to use the tub in the new room, the drain was broken and needed to be fixed by engineering. The drain was basically out of the pipe which I would think would have been noticed by whoever cleaned the tub. By the time we got in and settled it was over an hour of wasted time. My husband had an issue with his golf cart and had to return to the clubhouse 3 separate times before getting a cart that worked due to programming issues. The spa was amazing, but loud during the massage. I was in one of the first rooms and could hear the message therapists talking and greeting people as they walked to their room. The food was amazing! Lizbeth in the Crystal Room was the absolute best! The bed was super comfy. I think we may have just gotten very unlucky, the resort is truly amazing.

Beautiful comfortable hotel for biz or romance

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This is one of the most charming historical hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was ample, beautifully decorated, clear and comfortable. I was there for business meetings and the staff took care of us like rock stars. The staff is hospitable, attentive and well trained. I only wish my wife had come with me.

Historically charming

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

It is historically charming with a nice lobby and sitting room. Recommend a room with access to the porch for a better experience as the rooms are small. The interior hallways need updating. There are many children about so keep that in mind if you are looking for a quiet get-away. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is dated but compatible with the nature of the resort. There are springs across the lane to look at...not for soaking. The formal restaurant was beautiful, the steak and pork were very good the oysters were not good. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Spectacular service!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The service was spectacular!!! I developed a cold my second day and when asked how I was that morning, I told them I slept well but had developed a cold. I asked if anyone behind the desk had a cough drop. They said they didn't, but the gift shop did. Unfortunately, the gift shop didn't open until 9:00 am and it was 8:15 am. They called security and opened the gift shop so I could purchase cough drops and Mucinex!!! Also, a shout out for Jungle and his wife who were both a great help checking out and managing my needs other times in the gift shop.

Not Our Best Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The rooms were comfortable although we did have to have cigerettes in a cup of water removed from the table outside our room when we arrived. During our stay the elevator was out of commission which meant the service elevator was the only means of getting to our room from the ground floor for most of our stay. During the conference, we found banquet services adequate. Most of our meals were satisfactory but table service on Saturday night was slow. After check out we waited over an hour for our car. We have stayed at the Bedford Inn on a number of occassions for conferences and personal get aways. This was perhaps our most disappointing stay.
