Last minute decision to stay at Bedford Springs Resort for one night on our way home and so glad we did! We arrived early evening on Memorial Day and the property was very quiet. We were upgraded to a lovely deluxe king on the historic side. Very clean and well appointed. We walked around the inside of the hotel - so much to look at. Dinner was at the tavern and was delicious. Since it was a beautiful evening we walked some more. The indoor and outdoor pools looked clean and well kept. People were sitting at the firepits and playing cornhole. Inside families were playing games in the lobby and the library. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. We will return to this lovely place.

my fiancé and I planned this trip as a last-minute celebration of our engagement. The Omni Bedford Springs made sure to celebrate us in every way possible from checking in complementary champagne strawberries chocolate very attentive staff who gave us a tour dining that had gorgeous views and great company. The entire experience from checking in to check out Felt tailored to our needs and like we were very considered in each experience that we were having I 1000% recommend checking out this resort and spa for a lovely long weekend.

I took my husband to the Omni Bedford Springs to celebrate his 40th Bday away from the kids and life's hustle & bustle. What an amazing place to relax and unwind! The resort is full of history, amazing decor, an indoor & outdoor pool, hiking trails that start literally steps outside of the front entrance, a number of restaurant options, an excellent coffee shop, yard games, and comfortable fire pits to sit by and chat with other guests. We stayed in a spa room with porch access. It was well decorated and very clean. The bathroom was impressive with a rain shower and an extra large bathtub. For couples, I highly recommend this room category. We had a couples quiet mind massage in the spa, and partook in the Bedford bath ritual. (Note: There are two bath ritual rooms; a womens only and a mens only. We did not realize this going in) Compared to other resort spas, this one was very clean and over-accomadating; it left my husband and I feeling pampered. My 3-day stay at Bedford Springs felt like a breath of fresh air. It gave me the feeling of stepping back in time and truly being removed from the craziness of the real, outside world. If you're looking to really get away, and are sick of the corporate-style hotel stays, give the Omni Bedford Springs a try, you won't be disappointed.

All surrounding the food. Day one, we ate dinner after arriving at the Frontier Tavern. I had the Flat Iron Steak. My wife had the gnocchi. The steak was not served on a hot plate, which is typical, and was cool to the touch. The gnocchi was good, but with no protein, it didn't match the price. Day two and three, we ate breakfast at the Crystal Room, with the breakfast package. The breakfast package was not described well online, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it. The buffet was the only item available to us, and all of the food was cold and lacked flavor. Certainly didn't match the price. Day two, we ate dinner at the 1796 Room. We both had filet entrees, octopus as the appetizer, lobster mac n cheese side, and raspberry cheesecake for desert. Octopus was bland and slightly overcooked. The filets were cooked properly but served cool not hot. Lobster mac n cheese was delicious. The raspberry cheesecake was served with strawberries lathered in raspberry sauce. Again, the quality of food didn't match the price.

Hotel was clean, charming and most of the staff was friendly. We enjoyed learning of the hotel’s history through many pictures and signs. However, we were surprised that we were not greeted or offered assistance with bags by valet staff upon arrival. At check-in, we were not recognized as Champion level guest nor offered a room Upgrade. We later found out AFTER INQUIRING OURSELVES, that there were no upgrade rooms available. The food at the restaurants were good and the wait staff were friendly, accommodating of special requests and contributed to a positive experience.
