Fantastic setting. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The spa lights out good. Really no reason to leave the resort; although town is nice, too.

Came here with my BFF to celebrate our 50th bday. We loved the facility, so historic and verybeautiful decor. The building was hard to navigate at first, but we figured it out. The room was nothing super special. It was very cute and roomy. We had a large number of lady bugs in our room and the windows were very drafty due to the age of the building. We loved the balcony with rockers. The room service was inconsistant. She came at 3pm one day and 9am the next. Our beds were never made. Then we found a note stacked under the complimentary note pad providing instructions if you want your bed made. That was not very obvious. The historic building and room were both lovely, however we felt like the price for the room (over $500 pn) was a bit high for what you got.

Bedford Springs Resort is an outstanding place to spend a few days. We were there in June a d just returned. Our June visit rated a score of 5 stars. Just a few slips this time resulted in a score of 4. The slips would never prevent us from returning. The grounds under the direction of Toby are pristine. The trails, of which I ran or walked all of them are superbly maintained. Be sure to visit the spring located near Redoak Lake is a must see. The Black Spring is a peaceful location and home to a massive water producing spring. Only a short hike from the parking area. There are small gift shops that offer a variety of items. Mary was one of the staff working there and helped me select a gift for my daughter. Very nice individual. We attempted to eat at Tilleys but learned after 2 attempts that it was close since the golf course was under green arriation. This could have been communicated since no one seemed to know why. We learned this from a server at the Frontier Tavern. Missy in the Frontier Tavern was a pleasant and energetic server. She took great care of us. Be sure to take the historical tour with Jungle. Yes, Jungle a superb and very knowledgeable guide. The room was well maintained. Did show a little wear but had all that you will need. A couple of slips here for us. Coffee maker stopped working but was replaced and there were no robes in the room. Yes, minor issues. My wife's spa treatment was super. Sorry I don't remember the therapist's name. Thus, only a few minor slips but overall we truly enjoyed the relaxing experience. We will return next year.
