Conrad Beijing

Having stayed at dozens of Conrad’s around the world, this by far is the worst! I squarely put the blame on the GM and the leadership of this hotel. The staff are harried, overworked. Look unmotivated. The breakfast is a zoo…lines stretching into the lobby, mostly non guests. No priority to hotel guests. Executive lounge is one of the worst…almost everything was gone by 10 am on Saturday and poor staff and managers appeared to be helpless…it’s the whole system is broken! Sr. Management is to be blamed! Corridors and rooms smelt of cigarette smoke. Rooms are clean. Beds/linen are of Conrad standards. Bathrooms are dated but the dual shower head was nice. Whiskey bar was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a smear on an otherwise wonderful Conrad brand. Will not stay there again not recommended. Many other better places to stay in Beijing.

Stayed in early July 2026 for business. As a Hilton Diamond member, service is what makes me pick one hotel over another, and this team delivered. Excellent location if planning to visit the forbidden city, Great Wall, or going to a mall The Executive Lounge was a highlight. Nice view! Evening food took a while to come out, but the quality was very good. At breakfast, Diamond members get a separate area with exclusive dishes, a nice touch. Two misses: the pillow menu was not available when I called, and there was no TV service in the room. Still, the staff was attentive throughout and made up for it. Recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at this coffee house, largely thanks to Anna. Her service was exceptionally fast and genuine warm. It is exceptionally rare to find someone so attentive and welcoming. Not only to me but to all guests as well. She completely elevated my stay! Kindly commend her for an excellent service rendered. Please convey my heartfelt thanks to her:)

Very comfortable rooms and helpful staff. WiFi was very poor and the location is a fair way from the centre (hence why I have marked them down).

A decent Conrad overall. Good sized rooms and very friendly. The lounge was very good with a decent selection of food and drinks. A little slow to clear tables in the lounge. Thanks for the room upgrade.
