Grand Hyatt Beijing

Currently we are living at Grand Hyatt Beijing and I want to share our very negative experience. First of all, we have ordered transfer from airport to the hotel. The driver was 30 minutes late (most probably, the staff simply forgot about that). I tried to receive explanation regarding this at the reception, but received quite unpleasant and, in my opinion, rude answer, that driver was at the right time (if that is true - why he did not call?). Anyway - is that the level of hospitality at 5-star hotel? Second issue. We are liming in an apartment that is quite old and depreciated room, which is more like hostel room with mold and big old refrigirator. It does not match photos on the web site. I asked staff if there is better room - they responded - if you want better - pay for upgrade. Again - is that the level of hospitality at 5-star hotel?

This is a quality Hyatt hotel to stay for your Beijing visit. Beautiful room, great service and amenities! Perfect location with walking distance to Tianamen Square, Palace Museum, and National Museum; and subway station to other attractions. Lots of shops and restaurants in surrounding area. We will be back!

We love this hotel, especially the club lounge on the 17th floor. My husband and I stayed in Beijing for 1 month in September-October, and we had a great time. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful. The staff on the 17th floor is so friendly and make it a home away from home for us. Harry, Andy, Alice, Chef Jerry and Tom and all of the servers are so incredibly friendly. We love staying at the hotel.

We had a great stay at the Grand Hyatt Beijing. The service was outstanding — warm, professional, and efficient. Special thanks to Cecilia, who went above and beyond to help us recover a lost wallet. We’re still amazed by how quickly and kindly everything was handled. The breakfast buffet was another highlight: incredibly varied, with both Western and Eastern options, all fresh and delicious. The rooms are a bit dated, but honestly, that’s the only minor downside in an otherwise flawless experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay! The hotel had two super comfy pack n plays ready for us, which made traveling with little ones so much easier. The spa was wonderful for us, and our toddler was obsessed with the hotel’s robots — such a fun touch. Highly recommend!
