This hotel couldn’t have been better — it exceeded all of our expectations. The location was incredible, less than a five-minute walk from Wangfujing Centre. The facilities were outstanding: the pool was fantastic, and both the men’s and women’s changing rooms included a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. The hotel itself was pristine, with a stunning lobby and perfect, spotless rooms. Housekeeping maintained an exceptionally high standard every day. Special thanks to Hanna and Cecelia at the front desk, who took such great care of us throughout our stay. Their warm smiles, professionalism, and excellent knowledge of the local area and hotel facilities helped us make the most of our trip. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a huge variety of options available. We genuinely couldn’t have been happier with this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My stay at Grand Hyatt Beijing was outstanding from start to finish. It is an excellent hotel in an exceptional location in the heart of Beijing - comfortable, elegant, and a wonderful base from which to explore the city. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, the hotel facilities were excellent, and overall it was a genuinely pleasant place to stay. What stood out most to me, however, was the professionalism and warmth of the staff - particularly the concierge team. Before and during our stay, I interacted extensively with the concierge team while arranging tours, transportation, and many other questions related to our visit. I had a lot of questions - often quite detailed - and every time, the team responded promptly, thoroughly, and with genuine professionalism. I would especially like to thank Cecilia, Scott, and Daniel. They are awesome professionals. It is people like them who transform a hotel stay from simply comfortable into genuinely memorable. Their support made traveling with my mother and sister easier, smoother, and more enjoyable, and for that I am sincerely grateful. I would also like to mention that the bar at Grand Hyatt Beijing is excellent, serving wonderful cocktails and drinks in a refined and relaxing atmosphere - perfect after a day exploring the city. Overall, Grand Hyatt Beijing is a hotel I would highly recommend - excellent location, beautiful and comfortable accommodations, great food and drinks, and above all, exceptional people who truly care about their guests. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay such a pleasant one.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Beijing and was reminded why this hotel has remained a classic in the city for so many years. Even though it’s not the newest luxury property in Beijing, it still delivers a polished, high‑end experience with a level of service and consistency that feels reassuring from the moment you arrive. Staff are attentive without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere is refined in a way that suits both business and leisure travelers. The location is one of its biggest advantages. Sitting right on Chang’an Avenue and directly connected to the Wangfujing area, the hotel puts you in the center of everything. Whether you’re heading to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, or the shopping streets nearby, it’s all within easy reach. Being able to step outside and immediately feel the energy of central Beijing is a major part of the hotel’s appeal. Breakfast is another highlight. The spread is extensive, with a mix of Western and Chinese options, fresh pastries, made‑to‑order dishes, and a level of variety that makes mornings feel like a small event rather than a routine meal. It’s the kind of breakfast that sets a good tone for the day and reinforces the hotel’s upscale positioning. What makes the stay especially compelling is the value. For a Grand Hyatt in such a prime location, the pricing is often surprisingly reasonable. You get a full luxury‑brand experience — strong service, excellent food, and a prestigious address — without the premium rates that many other top‑tier Beijing hotels command. Overall, Grand Hyatt Beijing offers a balanced blend of location, comfort, and value. With its central setting, rich breakfast, and consistently warm service, it remains a dependable and enjoyable choice for travelers who want a high‑quality stay in the heart of the city.

We stayed here for seven nights. The location is excellent, and we really enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel—it feels grand, luxurious, and very impressive. That said, we found the room itself lacking a truly luxurious feel. The flooring was wooden rather than carpeted, with only a small rug near the bed, which made it feel less cozy. The bed was also a bit too firm for our liking. It was manageable for a short stay of one or two nights, but after seven nights, it started to cause some back discomfort. On a more positive note, the bathroom and toilet were beautifully renovated and stood out as the highlight of the room. We especially loved the automatic bidet—it added a nice touch of comfort and modern convenience. Overall, a pleasant stay, mainly due to the location and hotel atmosphere, but there is room for improvement in the in-room comfort.

Travelling with two young kids, the hotel location is great next to the Oriental Plaza. We received great hospitality from Hannah (Anna) during our stays and we love the club lounge experience.
