Worst Kempinski Hotel I have ever stayed at.
From arrival my check in was handled poorly -The trainee could not speak English nor was she helpful -I have her name and the manager on duty .but will provide that directly to Kempinski .I asked for a later check out than 12:00 and was offered 14:00 :If longer a full nights stay will be charged .My pick up from hotel was 21:30 the following day .We agreed on 16:30 for an extra 600 CNY after much fighting . Today is my check out but the hotel has maintainence work and constant drilling and banging -I cannot sleep and the purpose of a late checkout was to rest .I complained but was told there is not much they can do .i was refused a later check out again which is now there fault which I am paying for but cannot sleep .The manager was very unhelpful .This hotel is old and rooms on 6th floor are tired .I have stayed at the Four Seasons in February 2026 and that is far more helpful from staff

Fantastic Concierge
The Concierge MORANT W was absolutely fantastic, friendly and went out of his way to answer all my questions and was so patient and friendly during my entire stay ! Thank You MORANT!

Solid stay near embassies
Stayed for two nights. Very nice, spacious and clean room. Breakfast was a highlight. It’s on a river and near several parks as well as many embassies. The neighborhood is quiet but pleasant. Definitely a solid stay.

Wonderful Trip
This was a great trip... relaxing & satisfactory experience. The environment was cozy, near to the Liangma River where you can jog & walk around after the meals. Night time has colourful lighting around the river to enhance the overall experience.

Great hotel. Older style luxury, but spacious and wonderful staff
Grand ol’ dame of a hotel. Built in 1999 and on a grand scale with all the facilities you would expect of a five star hotel. It does feel a little dated in some aspects, but that aspect is made up for by the space, gracious relaxed feel which is very rare in newer five star hotels in Beijing. My room too is always choose the river view rooms. Nice view and sun set oover the city. Two great gyms, the 2nd larger one is in the basement of the adjacent Kempinski Apt building. Overall this is my go to recommendation for many guests to Beijing. Next to Lone 10 subway and easy access to AirPort Express.
