The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast

The hotel is pretty well-located, in between Grand Central station (useful if arriving from Belfast International) and City Hall (where most of the other buses pass through and adjacent to the central shopping area). We stayed in a Executive King room for two nights. The room was a good size with all the amenities you'd want and an excellent bathroom with both a large walk-in shower and large bathtub. Curtains blacked out the room very effectively and the super king (+) sized bed was comfortable.

Another fantastic visit to The Fitzwilliam but this time at Xmas and it was so festive. From the entrance to the room you really got the Xmas feels. Check was smooth and as always the staff so accommodating and pleasant. I was given an upgrade on my visit which was completely unexpected but as this IS MY FAVOURITE HOTEL IN BELFAST I was delighted. The room was so clean and like my past visits it was perfection! My first time dining in the hotel and it did not disappoint, the food was absolutely yummy! And the wait staff were so lovely. Special shout to Victoria who served me, she is absolutely amazing 🤩 Now to breakfast… I was disappointed it didn’t have my favourite dish anymore ( French toast with crispy bacon with maple syrup) but what they did offer made up for it. I decided to go with the pancakes with bacon and syrup and it was just sweet enough! If you are thinking about visiting this hotel don’t hesitate to me it is perfect from the staff to the room to the food!

I ate here recently, in the restaurant, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waitress Niamh was absolutely lovely and was very attentive to our every need. I highly recommend the hotel and we will definitely be back.

Fitzwilliam never disappoints! Returned for second time in two months to celebrate a special occassion and were delighted. Location is 10/10 and the car park is super convenient. Room was as beautiful as always with everything you need and logically laid out. Bathroom is really really lovely with both shower and bath. Very clean. We didn't experience any noise. The turn down service was nice. We also had a family dinner in the restaurant upstairs and it was terrific. Restaurant staff are wonderful - efficient, very polite and friendly but no fuss or unnecessary frills - you barely noticed they were there but everything was so fast. We were equally treated amazingly whilst feeling at home and comfortable. Food lovely. Will be back! Would always recommend for a special occasion as they do it so well.

Myself and my wife and I stayed here the weekend past as we decided to cross the border and do some Christmas shopping. Absolutely stunning hotel, great location where you are within walking distance to the city centre. Our room was lovely and we both had a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great.
