Since 1873, The Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni has been one of most elegant hotels in the Lake Como area and the only 5-star deluxe hotel in Bellagio. From April to October, the salons and the large lakeside garden offer guests the chance to enjoy a holiday far from the madding crowd and close to nature immersed in one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world. Lovers of peace and quiet can alternate the pleasure of a poolside drink with beauty treatments and programs at Villa Serbelloni SPA, the hotel's own beauty farm. Or they can set off from the private dock for a motorboat trip to the historic gardens along the lake which, in Springtime, attract tourists from all over the world: especially for the wonderful flowering of the azaleas. For those enjoying sports, they can take advantage of the hotel gym, squash & tennis courts, a variety of water sports, or enjoy delightful walks or take a mountain bike out on the Bellagio promontory, before freshening up in the swimming pool overlooking the lake.

This might have been the best experience I’ve ever had at a bar. Went for drinks at the hotel while visiting Bellagio with my wife and some good friends. The hotel bar (“Verri’s”) has a warm atmosphere, with dark, rich colors and a stunningly lit bar. Fantastic service from waiters in white jackets who knew their mixology. An impressive drinks menu, and we learned they make their own syrups etc. Instead of the typical bar snacks of peanuts, they brought over tiny cracker sandwiches with steak tartare. All the classic drinks available, plus some house specialties. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for dinner. Our waiter, Alessandro, was a total pro, informed, friendly & attentive. Live piano music drifting in from the lobby helped set the tone. Loved it!

The hotel holds a prime position at the end of the lake-front street of shops, hotels, restaurants and bars. It is a ‘high end’ hotel with amazing decor. It is close to the end of the ‘punta’ the point at which the lake divides for its southern sections. The scenery is amazing. The lakeside sunbeds are a great place to take in the sun and the views. The outside bar offers a great view of sunset over the lake and mountains. If driving be aware that the final stretch is along very narrow streets amongst the many pedestrians. All of The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful (we especially thank Alessandro for his friendship and helpfulness) If you consider dining at the Mistral restaurant you may wish to first checkout the prices rather than face potential embarrassment or shock. But Bellagio is home of many restaurants , some really good.

Well, Alessandro was my favorite ! and he made me the best cocktail ever ! He suggested an off menu drink once we talked. He is the kind of employee that makes a hotel 💕 The food and the view was awesome. Don’t be intimidated by the hotel, everyone is welcome and the service and food at the restaurants are amazing !!

Spectacular hotel ! Worth the splurge ! Amazing rooms - we even got one with a large balcony overlooking the lake , which was incredible.! breakfast was fabulous , stunning grounds - perfect location . Elena , the concierge went above and beyond when we had our transport cancelled due to a storm - she was able to get a driver to get us safely to our next destination. Personally, I don’t know if I would stay in Bellagio again because it’s stunning but mostly for tourists.-next time I’ll stay somewhere else in Lake Como but if you haven’t been, you must see it once in your life it’s incredible!
