Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni

Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is an oldfashioned, wonderfully preserved hotel, with all modern amenities, excellently managed. The whole staff does their utmost to make you comfortable and arrange everything to your satisfaction, also for making special reservations at restaurants, boat trips on the lake, taxi trips to the airport. All is done with Italian charm and quiet efficiency. Two superb swimming pools are at your disposal, a gorgeous breakfast room, a fitness, beauty treatment centre, etc etc, and of course a bar and lounge where dangerously well-prepared drinks await. Wherever you look, the rooms and halls are charmingly decorated with paintings, sculptures, old prints, lovely furniture, beautiful flowers. As a bonus, outside the hotel you can walk around in the village of Bellagio with various interesting shops and restaurants. In one word, we can say BRAVO to the Villa Serbelloni! Hendrik P.

Villa Serbelloni is without question one of the best hotels in Bellagio, a place I always return to. I never skip the bar. The team, built and led by Alessandro, is consistently excellent: young, dynamic, international in mindset, and very attentive. His professionalism, long-standing presence and genuine passion for the job clearly reflect on the team, you can really feel that everyone loves their job. something you don’t always see everywhere in Italy. The cocktails are also outstanding. I recently tried one of Alessandro’s new creations, perfectly balanced, not too sweet or too strong. And I’m not even a big cocktail person and very happy with his balanced cocktails. Always a pleasure to come back.

This is the second year in a row we run a conference at this hotel Villa Serbelloni, at Bellagio, on Lake Como The hotel itself is simply iconic, quite literally: one breathes the historic value this place holds, from the first step into its gardens and stunning palace. It is superbly elegant, yet also maintains its local, authenticity, with fairy-tale-like sittingro9ms, breakfast rooms looking out onto the lake and bedrooms. The views of the lake and mountains towering over are stunning, and the hotel is articulated in different larger and smaller spaces, perfect for different occasions for work and leisure. The food was superb, yet again - at the standard which one can expect from the likes of the best Four Seasons and Kempinskis, yet with its very rare boutique authentic setting. The staff are exceptionally professional, attentive and genuinely welcoming. There is a feeling of belonging amongst them, with the hotel. In particular, I had the fortune of meeting Alessandro Buonadonna, of the bar, who looked after our catering moments during our conference, with the utmost attention to detail and clients' needs. Alessandro was able to look after all our staff and our conference guests (we were over 50-60 people) letting us feel looked after and welcome, over two hectic days of work. Villa Serbelloni are fortunate to have such as person staffmember representing their brand, as direct point of contact with their guests. I hope they know. A mention goes also to their top-level gym which is equipped with the best modern equipment, and, importantly, with a likewise wonderfully professional, attentive and kind personal trainer, Paolo Sesana, who makes returning to this venue like returning home. We visited the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni and were very satisfied with the location, our rooms, meals, service, staff, consierge, hotel check in, etc. Bar Dept. Alessandro and Danielle provided very professional service while we visited. Breakfast in a grand room, service or buffet was one of the best we have had in a hotel. If you are considering a Luxury Hotel, then you should stay there, we would recommend it without hesitation. You will not be disappointed!

This might have been the best experience I’ve ever had at a bar. Went for drinks at the hotel while visiting Bellagio with my wife and some good friends. The hotel bar (“Verri’s”) has a warm atmosphere, with dark, rich colors and a stunningly lit bar. Fantastic service from waiters in white jackets who knew their mixology. An impressive drinks menu, and we learned they make their own syrups etc. Instead of the typical bar snacks of peanuts, they brought over tiny cracker sandwiches with steak tartare. All the classic drinks available, plus some house specialties. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for dinner. Our waiter, Alessandro, was a total pro, informed, friendly & attentive. Live piano music drifting in from the lobby helped set the tone. Loved it!
