Please tell the Chef, he and his team did an amazing job! Everyone loved the food and the presentation. The wait staff were great too! The room was picked up often, without disruption. Also, please apologize to the valet attendees, I messed up with the stickers! I put them on the wrong side. I thought my guests would just scan the sticker to get out. That being the only thing that went a little crazy, I think the event was a HUGE success and the host and guest of honor loved everything!!! Claremont Resort & Club is simply stunning and truly in a league of its own! My 15-person team’s meeting in the beautiful Hillary Tenzing Room was flawless, thanks to the WONDERFUL Denise Strasburg, Sr. Catering and Events Manager, who expertly orchestrated every aspect of our meeting. Denise is professional, attentive, and incredibly responsive (and might I add… patient!), making every detail come together effortlessly both leading up to the meeting and while my team was onsite. Contributors like Denise turn a great venue into an unforgettable experience, and I am deeply grateful for her diligence and KINDNESS, which touched me more than a few times during our communications. She made me feel seen, heard, and completely supported throughout the process. I also want to recognize the wonderful Jennifer and equally wonderful “Genie in a bottle” at concierge for their precise attention to every request, as well as Kibra and Jonathan at East Bay Provisions who helped with last-minute food orders, and Javvar and James Liang for their helpfulness. Maria at the front desk was another beautiful human whose support was invaluable whileI was onsite. Truly, what a remarkable team at a one-of-a-kind luxury property in beautiful Berkeley! While business orchestration is crucial, it is the STAFF who represent the property..who clearly care deeply, and contribute immensely to its stellar reputation ensuring clients return time and again. We love staying at the Claremont Resort and Club! Employees like Effie make it extra special. She is always extremely attentive and makes our stay feel like we are home. The hotel is great, but Effie and her amazing customer service make it the most fantastic experience!
