Had a wonderful couple’s vacation! Amenities are incredible. Room was clean and cozy. I want to particularly thank Effie who assisted us with check-in. Effie was super kind, attentive, and assisted us with choosing a great room with a wonderful bay view away from any construction. I think the wonderful staff is one of the major standouts of the Claremont. Would recommend.

I love the Claremont and the people the work here. Effie is always very helpful, polite and is great seeing her and being greeted by her smile.

My wife and I have been regular guests for over 10 years and Room 148 has been our constant special request, which has always been graciously accomodated through the efforts of your team of concierges and receptionists. My major complaint, which I have brought to staff’s attention year after year, is that plumbing issues related to the low water pressure in the shower are now reaching the point of being intolerable. For a man with hair on his head and a beard, taking a shower is a truly unpleasant experience. Some years ago I started traveling with my own special hand-held showerhead, but this last stay even that barely improves the pressure. We’ve been loyal guests of the Claremont through management changes and even ownership changes. Please, please, have your Lead Engineer and your Lead Plumber put their heads together to solve this issue. Don’t let this beautiful property become another “tired old hotel” by neglecting the plumbing just because it “appears” to work when you turn on a faucet. I could point out a half dozen other problems, big & small, with Room 148 that have developed over the years but, for now, the plumbing is critical and the most urgent. Thank you.
