Nice Family stay in Berlin
We had a very nice stay at the Gran Hyatt Berlin. Check in was very easy and as a Globalist, we got access to the lounge. Breakdast in the restaurant was very good and we really enjoyed the central location of the hotel.

Good location for public transports, average service, small twin room
Stayed for four nights end of December 25. The pros: * Located near public transports (2 min away). Easy to get from the airport (BER), a 20 min direct train ride (FEX line), costing about 5 EUR (so cheaper and faster than a taxi or Uber). Easy to get to other parts of Berlin too * Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Close to the Berlin Mall, walking distance to the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag building * Nice modern hotel, in good condition * Nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room on top floor, with a good view. Towels are provided. Only some of the lift access the top floor * Nice bathroom was both shower and bath tub. Separate toilet The cons: * The breakfast selection is good, with some items available to order (eggs, pancakes, French toast etc.). However, it's not worth the 44 EUR advertised per person, particularly when Egg Benedict are charged extra * Pool temperature was quite cold * The main part of the twin room was fairly small (despite advertised to be 38m2), with the two single beds almost touching * Some average service. Water bottles not replaced one day (despite room being cleaned), some mistakes during breakfast (order never arrived)

Christmas at the Grand Hyatt = Excellent!
Attractive, clean hotel within walking distance to many city sites. Guest rooms were spacious and comfortable and stocked with expected amenities, including fluffy bathrobes. Staff across all departments were personable and provided excellent service. Food and beverage products were presented well and the breakfast buffet offered a large variety of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruits and pastries. The bar was small with a variety of drinks and great service. The fitness center was spotless. Highly recommend!

Excellent value in a perfect location
Great value and excellent location Very clean hotel with a high standard of maintenance. The staff were friendly, responsive, and always available when needed. The room was spacious and comfortable, especially for the price. Great value for money and an excellent location close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.
