Hilton Berlin

Honestly the hotel is not bad, rooms are a bit outdated but overall good. Plus the location is great, very central and you get a beautiful view of the church at breakfast. Their pool is in need of refurbishing but is ok. The service staff at reception are very polite however the service in the lobby restaurant...really need training. They will let guests sit there without approaching and would never even go a little out of their way to make it a bit more comfortable for the guest. That was probably the most disappointing part of the stay.

We spent 28 nights at this hotel in July 2026, and it was a fantastic stay from beginning to end. The location is perfect for exploring Berlin on foot, with excellent access to the city’s public transportation system. The facilities are excellent, and the breakfast each morning was outstanding. What truly made our stay special, however, was the staff. While everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming, a few team members went above and beyond. Davood made every breakfast a pleasure with his warm smile and genuine greeting each morning. Our breakfast team, Yodari and Mostafazur, provided exceptional service throughout our stay. We would also like to recognize Lillia, our housekeeper, whose care and attention to detail were simply outstanding. This was one of our favorite hotel stays, and we enjoyed every moment. Thank you to the entire team for making our month in Berlin such a memorable experience. We look forward to returning.

Hilton Berlin As a Gold Hilton Honors member I booked the Hilton Berlin for a three night stay in July 2026. I booked 2 rooms for my family of four (2 adults and 2 teens)1 king and 2 twins. I booked the confirmed connecting room option online. I paid one room with points and the second room cash. Overall Rating: 3/5 Stars The things that we liked included the location. Right in the middle of the city with easy walking access to Check point Charlie, Reichstag Building, Brandenburg Gate, Memorial to the Murdered Jews and many more sights. Its location right across the street form Gendarmenmarkt makes the location very picturesque and accessible to popular sighting points. Their daily buffet breakfast was very good. It offered an omelet station, champagne, juices and a variety of dishes for all tastes. I also liked the self filling water station and appreciated the ice machine on the floor. The gym was large and properly furnished with equipment. What needs improvement is that the room is showing its age. It was very apparent that this property is old with very little updates to the rooms. The lighting is poor, no modern phone USB connections, old carpet, walls and doors needed repainting or replacement. The hallways have very old, low ceiling with a musty smell. The bathroom floor has a drain that fills up and overflows every time the shower was running, leaving the floor wet and unsanitary. Overall, I would not return or recommend this property. I felt that the pictures advertised online did not accurately reflect the conditions of the room.

Great staff, everyone was welcoming, pleasant and helpful. We had booked a junior suite and it was huge. Obviously awaiting refurbishment, but that was fine, room clean and had everything we needed. We did not have the room we had booked but the staff were fantastic and gave me a cake for my birthday and some wine. I love there is a little shop there, as we bought wraps after being at the theatre late. We like the location as there is metro outside, pleasant area, and easy to walk to places if you enjoy walking around. Fantastic breakfast, couldn't have asked for more. Only slight niggle was the refurbishment going on, as on day we came back for a rest in the afternoon and the drilling/noise went on until 6pm. Just check where your room is or when the refurbishment will finish. Otherwise we didn't see of hear anything elsewhere. Would stay again. Just to note it was awful arriving at the airport - 2 hour wait to go through border control even after fingerprint and photo checks. Not enough staff. Taxi didn't wait so that was another issue to sort and finally jumped in a taxi outside, that was cheaper than what we had paid for in advance!

The room was nice and clean. We have always loved this hotel but on this trip it didn’t go well due to construction on the floor above us. It was impossible to enjoy the room during the day. I guess no naps allowed in Hilton Berlin. On the positive side the staff was very apologetic but there was little they could do. The did comp me some drinks and gave me some Hilton points but I would rather of had a quiet room. They really should have informed us prior to check in.
