Hilton Berlin

Stayed during a weekend break in Berlin. Warm welcome and the reception area is comfortable with lovely scent. The deluxe room was huge, comfortable bed with robe and slippers. The hotel is in a great location and whilst the breakfast is plentiful it’s not very hot. For us it was missing a few minor things such a soft close on the toilets, doors that don’t close well on the bathroom and no usb on the sockets only on the alarm clock and we gave up asking for the air conditioning to be repaired after the 2nd request. It also took us ages after purchasing bottled water to locate the water station hidden in reception, there could perhaps be cooler in the lift lobby on each floor. The pool is lovely but too cold and no jacuzzi which is a shame. No one asked how the stay was when we checked out which was a shame. Overall disappointing in several areas, would not be likely to recommend.

Good hotel in a good location. Big rooms. Plenty of lifts. Good winning pool area where you can relax with a book.

We stayed for 3 nights last week for a break from Scotland . We picked this hotel due to it being the best rated in Berlin and to be honest I was disappointed with the following - Negatives 1. Our bedding was ripped - definitely not what is to be expected in a Hilton hotel 2. The handle on the bath was hanging off 3. The shower curtain was all marked 4. The housekeeping banging the door before 10am and giving us 10 seconds before opening the door 5. The fridge is full of the mini bar items you cannot use the fridge to put your own items in 6. We were not told about city tax even at check out we were not told this until i questioned after I left and had to go back to check Positives 1. The location is central for all the tourist areas 2. The hotel lobby is really nice 3. Check in was easy although we weren’t given much information which wasn’t the best

A lovely hotel in perfect position for the Christmas markets and sight seeing. Our suite was unavailable so we were changed to two interconnecting rooms but did receive a discount and staff were very apologetic. Breakfast was decent and the supper buffet of cheese and salads in the evening was excellent and saved us a lot of money. Our only gripe was being charged 12 euros for items removed from the mini bar. Our son had taken them out and when he realised there was a charge put them straight back in. Felt petty to be charged when they weren’t opened but rules are rules I guess. We had good advice about transport and the rooms were clean, quiet and new. We really enjoyed our stay.

I booked a night at the Hilton to celebrate a very special occasion. Although I live in Berlin, I wanted to celebrate it at the hotel to make the moment even more memorable. Before my stay, I contacted the reception to prepare something nice for us and Johanna was the one who responded. She was incredibly helpful, very polite, and extremely professional from the very beginning. Her responses were always quick, thoughtful, and very accommodating. We are pleasantly very happy as she upgraded us to a beautiful suite overlooking the Gendarmenmarkt. She also arranged a lovely surprise in the room, which made the experience even more special. On top of that, she gave us one of the newly renovated suites, which was absolutely fantastic. Johanna is truly a credit to the hotel. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our special occasion even more memorable. The hotel itself is wonderful, the location is perfect, and the staff are outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berlin. Thank you so much, Johanna and every Team member for making our special day truly unforgettable.
