Spilling out onto the Unter Den Linden, right in front of the Brandenburg Gate, this beautiful Hotel could not be better situated. The quality of the well sized rooms is well above average even for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is a feast with everything you would expect from the buffet plus cooked options on request. Excellent facilities including a pool and well sized gym with machins and free weights. However, it is the friendly and helpful staff that really make this hotel a destination to return to. Super service in the Brasserie Quarré, helpful concierge and everybody else too.

Outstanding service throughout the entire hotel. Every team member — from Reservations, Reception, Concierge, F&B, Door staff, Spa team, and Housekeeping — demonstrated an exceptional level of service that felt genuinely human rather than robotic. What stood out most was the personality of the staff. Each individual brought warmth, authenticity, and a willingness to go above and beyond what one might normally expect, creating a truly memorable experience. Breakfast deserves a special mention. It was one of the best I have experienced across many luxury properties. The pastries in particular were exceptional, especially knowing they were all made on site.

Worth checking out the history of this excellently located hotel, rebuilt after WW2. We called in here for a lunchtime break during a full day exploring Berlin. The lobby lounge makes an ideal (if expensive!), spot for a relaxing lunch: we found the the Goulash soup to be an excellent choice. Service is pleasant and efficient, without being intrusive, and we were put under no pressure vacate our table, which was appreciated while we waited for our timed entrance to the Reichstag. We checked out the room rate for the hotel, but given the location and ambience it did not seem to be budget busting! Next time maybe?

Terrible service in the bar. Ignored, they seem to not cope if there are more than a few people. No priority for hotel guests. Check in person was abrupt and stressed not a great first impression. Stayed in many of this chain of hotels. This lets it down. Bit of staff training needed.
