The hotel staff is very rude and not friendly. We had a voucher for 25 euros for food and drinks issued by Expedia. They not only “forgot” To mentioned it at check in but also didn’t have the courtesy to respect what Expedia app said. Ms Meng at the check in desk was the rudest of them all saying it was their mistake but that she didn’t care, said it was not important and doing nothing at all. These people would really benefit from some customer service classes. Room service was also a disaster. First day I ordered a breaded meat and potatoes. They brought the potatoes with onions (I’m allergic to onions), they not only didn’t check allergies but also didn’t care about it. Second they I ordered the same meal specifying that I didn’t want anything on the potatoes. They added black pepper and when I had to almost begged for him to take them back. Bad experiences in this place. Make sure you don’t go

This ok. Rooms are clean and good. The bathroom is small. Breakfast is not great and very limited and disappointing. Check in is seamless. Hotel is in a good spot. 4 star hotel.

Just back from a three night stay at this lovely hotel. We were given a fifth floor room which looked recently refurbished and was beautiful. Comfy beds, robes, slippers, little fridge, safe etc and spotlessly clean. Great bathroom with a big walk in shower. There was a small issue with the shower which wasn’t draining and after speaking to the housekeeping manager who happened to be outside our door it was fixed on our return that day. I’d also said the room was very warm (my son found the temperature fine!) and she provided a fan which made it perfect. I’m sorry I didn’t get the lady’s name but a big thank you to her. I’d also like to say thank you to the manager on hearing it was my birthday left a lovely bottle of wine in my room. It was a very kind gesture and much appreciated. Hotel is in a great location with a U-Bahn station literally a minute away. Everyone who worked there that we spoke to were really nice people. All in all a great stay in a beautiful hotel and I will definitely stay there again when I return to Berlin

Loved it when it was Kempinski's and has faced a few challenges since. Not what it was but still convenient and reasonable if a little less elegant. The breakfast was the envy of Berlin. ...rather less now but still substantial. Good clean rooms with basic furnishings and no drawers.. just a wardrobe. Good staff if less well trained than the halcyon days. Clean but the smallest and thinnest bath towels of any hotel I have stayed in. Still emotionally attached, if a little saddened, by the cheapening decline.

Unbelievable value for money, genuinely one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. For the price you pay, you absolutely cannot go wrong. Staff were so nice and place was spotless. No complaints whatsoever.
