AVOID AT YOUR OWN PERIL—-MONEY GRUBBERS Unfortunately a German business that will happily take your money for nothing. We accidentally double-booked four nights at the Bristol Berlin. Upon the discovery when checking in, Bristol Berlin refused to help my family in any way. They just charged us full price for both rooms, end of story. No offer of an upgrade. Nothing, They just happily took my money and probably tried to resell the extra room. On top of that there is no air conditioning at the hotel either. What exists you need to know a code to turn it on, which they only tell you if you ask. Have family in Berlin. Will never return to the Bristol Berlin ever again.

One star — completely deserved due to the unprofessional handling of my laundry and poor internet service. I handed over my laundry bag at check-in around 8 PM. The next morning at 9 AM, I by chance noticed it was still sitting at the reception. I flagged it to the receptionist, who assured me it would be sent to the third-party laundry provider within a few hours. Well, by 4:40 PM, my laundry was still there — untouched. I’m checking out at 4 AM tomorrow, which means I’ll be traveling with a bag full of dirty clothes. Completely unacceptable. To add to the frustration, the internet is also terrible — slow, unreliable, and not suitable for even basic

It was pleasant stay until departure when they asked to pay more when all were supposed to be paid on arrival saying THEY made a mistake and that they didn’t bill me correctly on arrival. Such a shame for Marriott chain to be having such service. It’s not even a cheap hotel but the services say otherwise. I waited in the lobby just to be being passed around from one person to another just saying the same thing. Of course I paid because they even try to make it like it’s my problem to start with. “It’s a mistake which we can only apologize for but you still need to pay” this is how they sorry for this. Disappointing!

This is not 5 star hotel, horrible service! Old amortized rooms. Loud and noisy. Extremely cold during the winter time in the rooms be prepared to sleep with a hat and jaket. The food from the room service is very very low quality. I can't say anything good for this place and not recommended to anyone to stay here. Nightmare

This is the tenth or eleventh time that I have stayed at this hotel. The reason - you feel as if you are going on a real holiday, with a peaceful pool just down the elevator. The location is excellent, opposite its own U-Bahn station, Uhlandstr. It is a short walk to the major station Zoologischer Garten. The hotel is on Fasanenstrasse, also known as the Bond Street of Berlin. The best shops in Berlin are all in the vicinity. Bristol Hotel prices are excellent value for money, and much cheaper than its sister hotel, the Adlon Kempinski. The Bristol hotel manager gave me a book on the hotel, showing its countless illustrious guests eg. Presidents John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan etc. Very quiet and peaceful inside, a real place to relax, you would never guess you are in a city of over 4 million inhabitants.
