Soundproofed windows mean a peaceful night's sleep at Hotel Palace Berlin, whose enviously central location is walking distance from both the conference center and all the temptations of bustling, cosmopolitan Kurfürstendamm, a German version of the Champs-Ão/oolysées. Those who get down to business will find a full range of support at the hotel, including a two-line conference telephone in their rooms.

A genuinely outstanding stay at Hotel Palace Berlin, and one I would return to without hesitation. The location is excellent, right opposite the Zoo area, which makes it both practical and pleasant. It is one of those hotels that works equally well for business and leisure. The lobby may not be the most striking part of the property, but the warmth of the welcome more than makes up for it. The reception team was consistently kind, polished, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. The recently renovated premium rooms are a real success. They feel elegant, carefully thought through, and very comfortable without trying too hard. The bed, in particular, deserves to be mentioned: I cannot remember the last time I slept better in a hotel than I did here. In fact, I slept better than at home, which almost never happens. Breakfast was also very strong. The overall quality was excellent, and the made-to-order eggs were a real plus. One useful detail: it is worth asking for fresh orange juice, as the one available in self-service does not reflect the standard of the rest of the breakfast. Access to the lounge made the stay even better. What is often a fairly forgettable hotel perk was, here, genuinely well executed. In the evening, the selection of snacks was creative, generous, and above all based on quality products, which is not something you find in every lounge. And the service was top notch! The wellness and fitness facilities were equally convincing. The pool is large, with opening hours that are genuinely compatible with a business schedule, and the fitness area is excellent, with modern equipment and everything needed for a serious workout. All in all, this was close to a perfect hotel stay: comfortable, polished, generous, and consistently well run. A place I would very happily recommend.

First time stay at this hotel, in the past I’ve stayed at 25 Hours (hated it) and Pullman Berlin, the location of the Palace Hotel is perfect. The room that I was assigned was large and functional. Upon checking into my room it was hot and so stuffy. Apparently during the non summer months it only blows hot air. Having called maintenance as the room was unbearable, the maintenance guy gave me great advice, being if you sign a waiver at front desk they can fully open the windows. This made a huge difference. I found the bed and pillows way too soft. Personal choice. When I asked for a firm pillow I was rudely told they were all out in other rooms. Hardly 5 star service. During my stay there was extensive construction work being carried out in the lobby area. Will I be back? Maybe - maybe not??

Very centrally located hotel, lovely atmosphere, elegant, tasteful, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast (well worth it), and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Following a room upgrade, the condition remained unchanged: not clean, notably dated, entirely familiar. The concierge operates from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a refreshingly modest interpretation of availability. A prolonged absence of investment is evident throughout the property Staff are polite and clearly trying, which subtly exposes gaps in training, structure and direction. The association with Leading Hotels of the World creates expectations that are, in this case, not met, resulting in a noticeable discrepancy between label and experience. The photographs shown were taken in the upgraded room on the 7th floor, arguably among the better rooms available. They are included without further comment, as they speak sufficiently for themselves. In this context, further complaints or explanations seem unnecessary. Conclusion: the name remains; the standards have departed. We will be leaving earlier than planned — a decision we have never made before.

Wonderful location, good public transport, just outside the christmas market at the gedächtniskirche, lovely restaurants in the area, fantastic shopping area, my teenagers and I loved the swimming pool and gym at the hotel. The rooms were great, breakfast was fantastic. The club lounge could be upgraded with food and drinks and a more comfortable area to chill/relax.
