Soundproofed windows mean a peaceful night's sleep at Hotel Palace Berlin, whose enviously central location is walking distance from both the conference center and all the temptations of bustling, cosmopolitan Kurfürstendamm, a German version of the Champs-Ão/oolysées. Those who get down to business will find a full range of support at the hotel, including a two-line conference telephone in their rooms.

A very enjoyable stay, location was ideal for us - bus outside doot and a short walk to S & U stations. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags and offered use of the leisure area until our room was ready. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and a different juice shot each morning on arrival. Leisure area very good, didn't use sauna but swimming pool was a good size, massage options with discount if you book on arrival. Wifi really good throughout hotel. Bar in hotel closes before 11 as does Gin cocktail bar but other options closeby if you want to stay out late. When checking in at reception it is all online so took us a little bit longer to do but we weren't rushed. Bottle of water and tea/coffee making facilities in room, also small fridge for you use

Superb hotel. Modern and comfortable room. Magnificent breakfast service. Beautiful relaxing spa. Every single hotel staff member I encountered complimented my stay with their helpful, friendly hospitality and professionalism. A very high standard of service to be celebrated.

Almost everything was perfect! The staff was kind, the rooms were clean and modern, the spa was a good addition and the breakfast left no space for improvement

This is a cracking 5-star hotel, right next door to Europa Center, a small shopping center, and opposite the Berlin Zoo. We had booked directly, and, by signing up for their Leaders Club, our nightly rate included breakfast for free. And trust me, you don't want to miss the breakfast in this place. It's genuinely one of the most impressive selections and best quality I've ever seen. There was even a child-friendly section with donuts, cookies, sweets, lollies, muffins, etc. Strangely (for a 5-star hotel), there was free prosecco at our breakfast on Sunday, but not on the Monday or Tuesday mornings... We had a Business Room, and it was modern, spacious, and had wallpaper which felt like it'd been lifted straight from "The White Lotus". The best thing about the hotel room... when you walked into the bathroom, a subtle motion-sensor light would turn on underneath the sink. This is genius ! You can see where you're going, without a blinding light, or waking up your partner. I wish all hotels would do this ! Both my friend and I had my birthdays whilst we stayed here, and for each of us, they offered us a prosecco at breakfast, and there was a gorgeous Happy Birthday cake in our rooms. It was this incredible attention-to-detail which really makes this hotel stand out. Even the receptionist knew we had birthdays during our stay, and they were prepared. Amazing. The swimming pool area was smaller than the photos suggest, and can get busy. And remember that the sauna area is, strangely, an additional cost per visit. Were there any negatives ? Yes, a little. Firstly, during our 3-night stay in August 2025, only 1 of the 4 lifts was ever working, the other 3 were out of order. Yes, in their defence, we did see OTIS engineers trying to fix the other lifts a couple of times - BUT - the frustrating thing was that we could not use the staircase. You could access the staircase from any of the floors, but only *exit* it on the 2nd floor (breakfast) and ground floor. One morning, I tried to avoid the 5-6 minute wait for a space in the lift by leaving breakfast, walking up to the 5th floor, only to find a locked door. The hotel gave us vouchers for discounted drinks in the lobby bar, but when we went there (on our last night, 18/8/25), there was just one person serving, and after 15 minutes, we gave up hope of being served and went to the Berlin Pub next door instead. Guys, making cocktails (for the other customers) takes time... sometimes one person simply isn't enough. And checking out was really unimpressive. When we'd checked-in, they'd taken the payment for our room and for a deposit (but didn't say how much the deposit actually was). When I came to check out, they said they'd refund the deposit, but the refund figure seemed suspiciously too small. When I checked my bill, I realised they'd tried to charge me 29.50 Euros for parking there on one night. Our group of 4 had flown to Berlin, and we absolutely didn't have a car. Yes, they corrected this mistake, but it's worrying when a 5-star hotel can make such expensive mistakes. Those small problems aside, this hotel is golden. My colleagues have worked in gastronomy and hotels during in their careers, and they all said that the friendliness and professionalism which the staff showed was amazing. Imad, the host during breakfast was *the* face of the hotel, and was absolutely brilliant. I cannot praise him enough. All in all, should you stay in this hotel ? It's a no-brainer. Book it.
