The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Berlin. The foundation of any successful organization is its people, so that is where I would like to begin. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated exceptionally well by every staff member we encountered. We stayed in Room 450, and the housekeeping team did an impeccable job every single day. Their attention to detail was impressive and greatly appreciated. Thanks to their hard work, our room always felt comfortable, inviting, and spotless. It was such a pleasure to return after a busy day of sightseeing to a clean and orderly room. The evening turndown service was an especially nice touch and added to the luxurious experience. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast at Pots. Our server, April, was an absolute delight. She greeted us every day with a warm smile and always had wonderful suggestions for activities and must-see sites around Berlin. We genuinely looked forward to seeing her each morning because her sweet personality and positive energy started our day on exactly the right note. Thank you, April, for taking such wonderful care of us. Pots offered the best hotel breakfast buffet I have ever experienced. Every dish we tried was excellent and made with the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend the French toast and the truffle eggs Benedict—you can thank me later. The buffet featured everything imaginable, including the largest and flakiest croissants I have ever had (I’m looking at you, Paris). A sincere thank-you to the kitchen staff for such consistently outstanding offerings. I would also like to extend a special thank-you to Mr. Terry Green. His gregarious personality and wonderful sense of humor kept us laughing throughout our stay. Thank you, Terry, for helping make our visit even more memorable. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and truly embodies the luxury and elegance synonymous with the Ritz-Carlton brand. Every restaurant, lounge, and public space feels thoughtfully designed, sumptuous, and welcoming. The hotel is exceptionally clean, meticulously maintained, and clearly very well managed. The location in Potsdamer Platz is another major advantage. The area is vibrant and conveniently located near many of Berlin’s most interesting attractions. There are excellent dining options ranging from fine dining to casual eateries, as well as plenty of shopping opportunities, from luxury boutiques to souvenir stores. Public transportation is just steps from the hotel entrance, making it easy to explore the city, and there is a beautiful nearby park for relaxing or exercising. I haven’t stopped patting myself on the back for choosing the Ritz-Carlton Berlin. It exceeded every expectation and provided one of the finest hotel experiences I have ever had. I plan on returning to this property again and will continue to sing the praises of this wonderful hotel.

This is a truly great hotel. We arrived late in the evening after Heathrow Terminal 5 did not manage to move our luggage onto the plane. We were greeted warmly, and given all the amenities needed. The rooms are luxurious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffer has a fantastic variety. The location is also great, with the underground station at Potsdamer Platz providing excellent transportation links. Overall, lovely.

I have stayed here 4 times before and really like the hotel. This time however, the valet service scraped the front wheel of my 150k€ car, causing large scrapes around the wheel. That is unacceptable. I had bought the new S Class car 5 days prior… this 1 night stay turned into a very very expensive stay… I have still not heard back from the hotel regarding my scraped wheel and its been a week since it happened. Seems like after stay service is not their thing… Otherwise the hotel is ok, beds are excellent, breakfast excellent. Service level ok. If you value your car, stay away

My wife and I have visited many wonderful hotels. The Ritz Carlton, Berlin is - in our opinion - the most enjoyable hotel visit we've had. If you attach the word 'excellent' to any component of a hotel stay (room quality, staff, atmosphere, location, etc.), then you're probably describing this hotel. We stayed on the 10th floor as part of their Club Lounge experience, so that likely added an extra dose of wonderful (the staff on that floor are fantastic.) But the feeling we had, and the service we received everywhere else in the hotel, suggested that everyone that works there has the same attitude. To make sure they deliver the highest possible level of service to their clients.

This property embodies those standards with precision, and then goes a step further. The location is a clear advantage — you are within walking distance of Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag Building, and the Tiergarten, making it an ideal base for both first-time visitors and repeat travellers who want efficiency without compromise. That said, the true differentiator is the Club Lounge. Access to the Club is not a marginal upgrade; it fundamentally elevates the entire stay. The level of service, the attention to detail, and the ability to rely on a dedicated team throughout the day create a materially superior experience compared to a standard luxury stay. A general thank you goes to the entire Club Lounge team — consistently present, precise, and genuinely focused on delivering at the highest level. In particular: - Louis, for his outstanding advice and for going above and beyond in supporting me through an unexpected back pain issue. His intervention was both practical and thoughtful. - Chuan, for impeccable breakfast service and for providing clear, well-structured recommendations on how to navigate and experience the city efficiently. - Domenico, for his proactive support even before arrival and his continued availability throughout the stay, always ensuring that every detail was handled properly. In summary, the hotel reflects the strength of the Ritz-Carlton brand, but the Club Lounge is what transforms a very good stay into an exceptional one. If you are booking here, access to the Club should be considered essential rather than optional.
