Reviews for The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin

the best hotel in Berlin

As someone who has stayed at many Ritz Carlton’s all over the world I would say that this is one of my favorites. I was visiting Berlin for my birthday, so I wanted to stay someplace special. Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton are my favorite hotel chains so naturally I chose this Ritz Carlton and I’m so happy that I did so. We were a couple and they upgraded us to one of the largest suites in the whole hotel, number 539. It was probably the largest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in and was especially big considering we were just two people. It had multiple bathrooms, a large lounge and dining room area and a giant bedroom area. The lobby is also really beautiful and the restaurant inside the hotel is lovely. We did not eat it for dinner, but we stopped in for breakfast and had a great meal. The entire staff was also very polite and accommodating and made the experience better. We were able to check in earlier than the 3 PM advertised time which was really nice after traveling. I will admit that it is a bit expensive but that’s to be expected when staying at a Ritz and I feel that it is worth it because life is short. It’s located in the heart of Berlin so it has a high walkability factor because it’s very close to a lot of the famous sites in town. I would highly recommend to any couple or business traveler to stay here as you won’t be disappointed. I plan to stay here again next time I visit Berlin.

Every aspect of our four day stay was excellent. From the greeting door staff, reception and concierge to the bar and restaurant and room staff, everyone was very cordial and helpful. The bed and room were comfortable and larger than expected. We would certainly look forward to staying there in the future and recommend the hotel to all discerning travelers.

Memorable experiences for special occasions

We were celebrating a birthday milestone and participating in the Berlin Half Marathon - both events were marked by a surprise drinks/chocolates/cakes delivered into our room. Really wonderful surprises and demonstrates the attention to detail this hotel provides. Excellent hotel with superb staff throughout. Beautiful and delicious breakfast buffet. Great location within walking distance of the most important attractions in Berlin such as the Brandenburg Gate, Check Point Charlie, the German Parliament, the Second World War Jewish Memorial and many more. Looking forward to returning some time in the near future.

Great experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin.

Warm welcome from Tery and smooth check-in with Martin. The room wasn’t ready on arrival, but I enjoyed a drink at the bar while waiting. Dinner at the à la carte restaurant was excellent with very attentive service. Drinks, room, and turndown service were all very good. Only suggestion — breakfast service could be a bit more attentive. Would happily return!
