Westin Grand Berlin

Great stay for the Berlin Marathon. Room was great. Location was great. Weather was hot but hotel had no control over that. I want to give a huge thank you to Annett Horlbeck, Sonia Pallavicini, Julia Schalze and the entire customer service staff. I sent a box of belongings back to the US after the marathon. I tried with DHL and the box kept getting returned to the hotel (obviously due to tariffs and our current situation(. The third try I used Fed Ex (much better) and with the continuous help of these kind people my box of dirty clothes and running shoes arrived. These people went out of there way to help me! Truly amazing in todays world of service.

What a wonderful hotel. We arrived early in the morning as our flight was cancelled and instead of arriving on the Saturday afternoon we arrived Sunday morning. The reception staff were helpful and suggested we go straight in to breakfast and our bags would be delivered to the room. There is a real feeling of staff wanting to help guests. The elegant reception area brings out a feeling of a bygone age . The room we had was wonderful a large sitting area with fridge. A lovely bedroom and although the bedroom dis not have a window a huge picture made up for the lack of a window. The lack of a window also meant the room was beautifully quiet. A nice coffee machine meant we could get a drink at any time. The whole hotel made you feel you were the only guest at anytime when dealing with reception of the concierge desks. Just a few minutes walk from the Brandenburg Gate , and bus ,train lines it is in an ideal position to explore the city. A great hotel we hope to return to.

Such a fabulous location! Loved the easy access to the UBahn (literally right outside the door!). The friendly staff and wonderful relaxing atmosphere. You are basically right at Unter den Linden without all of the traffic. I see that people have mentioned a bit of noise. We found this for a short time in the evening but as there is not a big bar scene immediately surrounding the hotel the noise was not a constant presence and certainly manageable. We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely hotel located within easy walking distance of the main sights, making it a great base for exploring the area. On arrival, you’re welcomed by an elegant lobby and a beautiful staircase that add to the hotel’s character and charm. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, all fresh and well presented, with something to suit most tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we experienced no issues at all. Overall, a well-run hotel that combines traditional charm with modern comfort — ideal for visitors looking for convenience and quality in a central location.

The location of this hotel is ideal, the rooms are nice, and the lobby is beautiful. The restaurant seemed nice but very expensive. We were a little turned off by the front desk staff for small things, but it seemed any time we needed something they were not able to help - they could not change a 100 euro bill, the system was down when we checked out so the were unable to change our method of payment, etc.
