Grand Hotel Esplanade

We stayed for five nights during April. The room was large, equipped with refrigerator, proper working desk, coffee machine , arm chair… Very nice room The lobby is very large but dark and not inviting you to stay. Most of the time the lobby is empty and the feeling is not great But the service of the front desk was very nice, The cleaning lady of the 5th floor on April 21st was fantastic - very caring, made sure all is ok and when she learned I like the coffee pods she brought me more. Didn’t tested the breakfast The neighborhood is very quiet. It took sue few days to learn the area and find nice simple restaurants- don’t expect to walk out from the hotel to a busy street… Luckily- a lot of electric scooters for rent around the hotel and it let us drive for 5 minutes to be in a nice area for restaurants and bars

There is something Diddy going on with this hotel. First they tried to charge us for additional breakfasts that we did not have. Secondly it has been more than 2 weeks and they have not returned the deposit. I have always stayed at marriott hotels and normally the deposit is back within 5 days. After staying here we went onto the Western in Frankfurt and that deposit had already been returned. Also the house keeping is very sub-par. Not what I would expect from the Sheraton brand.

The bar is closed and the restaurant (using the term loosely) is dead on its feet. Poor service, extremely poor quality food and trying to get a drink is a task on its own. You need to address this immediately Sheraton as it will cost you dearly.

It was a special experience, a good staff, .place, and bar I also want to say THANK waiter "znaida", he knew that i eat just a Free-Gluteen food, he take care of my requests. , He is so friendly, had a good servies It was my pleasur to met u.. We will get back.

Bad experience the worst ever ….We were a family reserved two rooms 3 adults two kids when checked out we were surprised that they added an extra bed and we have to pay for it extra 400euro i was surprised because our reservation was clearly was 3 people and two kids the manager Salman was the most horrible person ever ,Not to mention my room wasn’t made at 6 in the evening i was tired had to wait for the room to be made while im waiting and i was offered a free parking which was ok but surprisingly at checkout I was told only for one day and I have to pay for the other days which was a big lie be careful at this hotel from charging you things that you didn’t know about at the 😡😡🥲🥲🥲checkout when y are in a hurry
