Really cute and relaxing place to stay! Room was nice, good restaurant, good service. Valet was timely and nice. Recommend for couples.

What a great destination. Some of the most accommodating staff you will ever meet. From the front desk with Kalia, Jeremy and Christy to the attentive wait staff and Michael, Art and Chris at the valet parking you will enjoy your stay. Poolside breakfast is a great way to start your day. Don’t miss it. Tom & Margurite

Came here for dinner. When we arrived, no one working the valet & no self-parking option. After dinner, same thing. Another guest abandoned his car in the driveway. And another couple also wanted to get their car after us. Truly pathetically that a hotel has no parking or employees in this day & age. This was a weekend evening, restaurant was fairly dead, as was the lobby, so not like they were slammed or this was a random Tuesday evening or anything. No excuse.

The positives: -Got upgraded as a titanium elite member to a larger room with balcony. -Comfortable beds. -Perfect location. -Nice pool. The negatives: -$46 daily amenity fee felt unjustified, the bikes you can use were flimsy and didn’t have brakes. -Although pool is nice it only gets direct sun for a certain period of the day, not ideal for those who want to tan and enjoy the sun. - On my last day housekeeping didn’t turn up until 5pm. - No free breakfast Overall a decent hotel, staff are perfectly pleasant. I would potentially stay here again depending on the rate, shouldn’t be higher than $300 a night based on what is on offer in my opinion.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Avalon Hotel and its staff. My favorite place to be was at the cabana by the pool with family (or working with a yummy breakfast). Even during colder months, that spot has heat lamps that make it the perfect place to be, morning or evening. The staff was always personable, helpful and welcoming. A shoutout to Carlos and Luis at the front desk for helping to extend my stay. And of course the waitstaff at Vivianne were fantastic as well. I only wish my stay could have been longer. I’ll be back. :)
