Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills

We entered the Sofitel with no warning that they were doing a major renovation of the lobby. There was no apology notice for inconveniencing their guests. There was dust everywhere and loud drilling noise. I felt bad for the check-in staff who had to inhale the fumes all day. They were kind enough to refund one night's stay. But still, it shows how the management doesn't care about the comfort of its guests and staff. The hallways need refreshing and have a musty smell. The room are decent. It's not a great location. There are better places in LA to stay.

Wonderful staff but this is the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There was ridiculously loud music blasting from their event room until the early hours. It really disrupted my sleep and peace. I travel a lot for work, all around the world and this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Quite shocking really and very disappointing for the Sofitel.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The room was nice and incredibly comfortable, especially the bed, which felt like sleeping on a cloud. Jorge was giving us great customer service.

Excellent staff, hospitality services and location. I've stayed at this hotel often on my business trips. I'm specifically Impressed with the valet services. Enrique welcomed me with a wonderful service and charged my car when I asked him. Also, The wait for bringing my car is the shortest that l've experienced. Thank you so much Enrique for your excellent service!

We were never warned that the hotel was under HEAVY construction. Quite the surprise upon arrival when the lobby and only restaurant were closed and clouds of dust were flying through the air. The hotel is also very dated and worn - the pictures used on the website are incredibly misleading and are probably 20 years old. I would be disappointed if this was a Hampton Inn, I am appalled this is a Sofitel.
