Always a Great Stay
We love the Sunset Towers. The remodel of the hallways and the rooms and suites is the best they’ve ever looked! Food service time throughout the day is a little random and drink prices are high but should be better and more consistent.

Unique luxury
The Sunset Tower’s charms grew on me. Upon arrival, I was a bit underwhelmed by the small pool, and the somewhat dark decor, but I came to appreciate the hotel’s unique architecture and history, wonderfully comfortable beds and linens, excellent housekeeping, stimulating views, warm hospitality, and convenient location. Don’t expect the glitzy lobby, lavish floral arrangements or spacious rooms of a Four Seasons or a Peninsula, but stay here if you appreciate old time Hollywood glamour without any snobbery or pretentiousness. Every single employee we encountered was friendly and genuine. And the bar scene was lots of fun, even at 5.30pm.

Amazing experience in one of the classic Hollywood gems! Attentive staff, beautiful room (and views), lovely poolside drinks and ding and in a wonderful location. Can’t wait to return!

My favorite hotel
The Sunset Tower is such an outstanding treasure right in the middle of the best part of LA. Once inside the beautiful art deco building, there is an immediate feeling of glamor and calm. The rooms are beautiful, large with great views and have sumptuous bathrooms. Be sure to have dinner or drinks in the Tower Bar. You never know who will be seated next to you.
