Perfect, Dreamy Wedding Weekend

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

My now husband and I stayed at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria for our wedding weekend. It was by far the most luxurious and amazing stay we've ever had! We live on Maui, but we got married in Beverly Hills so my grandmother could attend. We got back home a few days ago and we cannot stop reminiscing about our time at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria. The staff was so kind and helpful. Jennifer at check in was warm and inviting. She answered all of our questions and got our wedding weekend started off right. Nick up at the Rooftop gave us an amazing dinner experience. Top notch service and incredible food. The yellowtail jalapeño was phenomenal! We didn’t spend much time with Troy at the bar, but the little time we had with him was great. He has an infectious great attitude and he was helpful with recommendations. Remon at Espelette was incredibly kind and was so nice to talk to. He took his time with us during breakfast and we felt most welcome. We are still dreaming about the French toast! We also had the pleasure of meeting Joyce, Director of Operations, at the front desk. She helped us answer some questions we had and was incredibly helpful. My husband ran into Tod Chambers, General Manager, and said he was so kind. From check in to check out, we were blown away by the service and accommodations. We were able to upgrade our room to the junior corner suite and it was more than we could’ve imagined. The staff had chocolate covered strawberries waiting in the room upon our arrival and rose petals on the bed and throughout the room. These were incredibly kind and thoughtful touches for our wedding weekend. We are so incredibly grateful to have spent our wedding weekend in that gorgeous room. It truly made our entire trip and we’ll remember it forever. We were also able to arrange a permit to take a few photos on the rooftop. It was a stunning backdrop for our wedding photos. We will cherish the photos forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was more than we could’ve dreamed of. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the entire staff at Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria. They deserve the recognition. I will definitely be recommending this property to all our family and friends. We can’t wait to stay there again.

I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and experienced a serious safety and security incident involving hotel staff. I reported the issue to Hilton Guest Assistance immediately — it has now been weeks with no resolution, no transparency, and no accountability. Despite being told that the case would be escalated to hotel management, I have received nothing but generic responses like “we contacted the hotel, please wait.” I’ve called multiple times, including on 7/21 at 2:52 PM, and the hotel manager refused to speak to me. Hilton Corporate has repeatedly said they cannot intervene directly, even though this is a matter of guest safety, not just a service issue. This experience has been extremely disappointing, not just due to the incident itself, but because Hilton has failed to take responsibility or even offer a timeline for follow-up. The lack of urgency and communication is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a Waldorf Astoria.

Exceptional Location, Service and Quality

Another exceptional example of Waldorf quality. The service, friendliness, quality and location make this one of the best hotels in Los Angeles.

Very well managed facility

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Everyone already talks about how stylish the hotel is and how friendly the staff are—and I agree. While the lobby isn’t jaw-dropping like, say, the Conrad Tokyo, it’s still tastefully done and elegant. What impressed me most, though, were two small moments that showed just how well this property is managed. I stayed with my wife and daughter. One night, both were on conference calls—one in the bedroom, the other in the bathroom (yes, it’s big enough to put a chair in and work). With nowhere else to go, I took my gaming goggles and headed to small public area at the M floor outside the fitness center. It was quiet and empty. After 30–40 minutes immersed in my game, a suited staff member came by to check if I was okay and politely reminded me the area would close in an hour. I returned to the room, and not long after, a housekeeping staff member knocked to check again if I was alright. I *suspect* they tracked me via hallway and elevator cameras. Some might find that intrusive, but to me, it felt like someone was looking out for me. That same night, I noticed some dark marks inside the *back elevator*—the one used for the gym, rooftop pool, and guest rooms. They weren’t there earlier in the day, and I remember thinking how unfortunate it was, since it looked like they’d be hard to clean. The next morning, that elevator was out of service. By noon, it was back—and spotless. Whatever happened was noticed and quickly addressed, which I appreciated. One downside is the lack of self-parking. Valet is $73 per night, and ChatGPT tells me tipping $5+ per retrieval is standard—which discourages me from using my car multiple times a day. Also, there aren’t many walkable dining options nearby, just a Starbucks. Still, overall, it was a very comfortable and well-run place. The staff are everywhere, and every one of them I met was friendly and helpful.

Most horrible Premium Hotel experience ever

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The worst premium hotel experience I have had in a long time. Multiple times I requested them for water in the room; and they just wouldn’t send it. Several other simple requests were not responded to. There is this “I don’t care for the customer mindset” which I find baffling.
