We stayed at the hotel on a whim. Best decision we made on our trip. The hotel was off the charts with service, condition and atmosphere. The views were awesome and the food was excellent. If I am in the area again this will be my choice to stay.

The Hotel du Palais is an extraordinary hotel! The rooms, service, staff, food, and incredible location made this a five-star-plus experience.

You never know quite how a major brand such as Hyatt will manage an old institution like the Palais but on our experience they’ve done a great job! Terrific staff pretty much all round. Helpful and friendly. Benjamin on the Concierge Team deserves a special mention, as does the Housekeeping Team and the guy running the lounge (sorry, we didn’t take your name). Our room was a Junior Suite (308) overlooking La Grand Plage. A great space. Big bed. Sitting area. Large bathroom with tub and separate shower. Three huge windows overlooking the beach and a balcony running the length of the room (unfortunately not wide enough to sit out on, but hey, first world problems!). Breakfast was excellent with great choices, the service particularly so. Breakfast overlooking the ocean - what’s not to like! The only slight disappointment was the food in La Rotonde on our last night at the hotel. Service was good but overall the food was a bit underwhelming and quite salty. We had much better meals elsewhere in Biarritz.

My family had an extended stay at this excellent hotel! My daughters loved the hotel and the facilities. They say it is their favorite hotel ever. The people of this hotel are so kind and welcoming. We will defintely come back in the future. The pools were great and the food was exceptional!
