Fantastic hotel that earns its stars!

Fantastic hotel! Quiet interior room on the 5th floor. Breakfast every morning on the 7th Floor terrace. Ate a couple of meals at the restaurant on the ground floor. All the food was very delicious and the staff was genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome. The best location in Bilbao for visiting the Guggenheim Museum. We were there when it had the excellent Ruth Asawa retrospective. Recommend the funicular and the restaurant at the top (turn right after exiting funicular at the top and short walk up hill to the restaurant on the right - busy place with excellent pinxtos.

We booked a "Smart View" room and were thrilled with the stunning view of the Guggenheim it offered. The room was gorgeous, spotless, extremely comfortable, and quiet. It contained everything you could wish for. Coffee, tea, and bottled water were thoughtfully replenished while we were out for the evening. We received a warm welcome and helpful advice and assistance from reception and had a wonderful cocktail on the Terrace while watching the sunset upon the Guggenheim. Truly memorable! This hotel is worthy of the numerous accolades it has earned not only for its enviable location but on the quality of service, amenities, and overall ambiance. Our only regret was it was our last night in Bilbao. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The one thing that stands out with this hotel is the service. Sure, the hotel is luxurious, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, it has a spa and a rooftop bar- but the way the staff makes you feel from the moment you enter the reception is quite unique! We were treated like royalty from beginning to end and we are so incredibly thankful. Can not recommend enough!
