Beau Rivage Resort & Casino

The facility is great with nice rooms and restaurants. Our complaint is it should not take a little over an hour to check in. There is a Chicago concert here tonight that probably created the delays but surely they should have been prepared for that.

As a Marriott Titanium member there no upside at this hotel - the MGM brand is the one they care about. Parking is free (rare) and you’ll walk a good ways from the parking elevator to the check in desk. It’s all shops and action along the way. The room I paid for was nice, corner aspect on a high floor / yet another longggg walk from the elevator. The restaurants are accessed on n main level but you have to walk through the casino first. It did say the resort fee is waived for good or higher Bonvoy members but they charged it to me anyway!! I was given a vip key card with access to the executive lounge across from the front desk - BUT all they have in there is water and coffee - no drinks or snacks. This was a great be night stop off for me, and I don’t gamble - it’s not a hotel I’d go for a relaxing retreat!! But if you like to gamble this would probably work for you.

The Beau Rivage is a beautiful clean casino resort . You will find not only gambling here but very upscale accommodations. Great dining . Housekeeping is wonderful all personnel encountered in our charter May1-5 out of STL courteous and very welcoming. They have this down arranging for your bags to be delivered to room in a timely fashion once you arrive. We now have a casino host Judith very accommodating and professional a true asset to the Beau. We feel there is “no need” for Vegas now that we have found the Beau!! This was our 3rd charter trip hoping for many more either out of Peoria Illinois or St Louis Mo. My only complaint is they need to step up ventilation since you are allowed to smoke . My hubby is smoker and he even felt smoke was a little thick but can’t wait to return !!!! f

Let's rip the band-aid off. First, the slots ARE the tightest on the Gulf Coast. If you do hit a bonus, it barely pays 2-3 times over your bet(maybe). Should be a violation of the gaming board. Second, they are EXTREMELY stingy with their watered down drinks. They put you on a timer at the bar per drink. I sit there and put in $1k in video poker and only get 2 drinks in 90 min. Outrageous! Whatever GENIUS Board members came up with this needs to step down. Take business 101 again! The good- I did recently hit my first Royal Flush in 20 years of visiting there for $400.

You just can't go wrong with a trip to the Beau. The service is excellent, the restaurants and buffet offer something for everyone, the casino is sooo much fun and the spa and pool, the shops...it's all just a wonderful experience.
