Problem in the buffet

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We went for the first time and were impressed with the hotel and the accommodations. However, I doubt I'll ever get used to those 'pump action' products in the bathrooms. The hotel is beautiful and the staff for the most part are friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with a meal in the buffet on our first evening there and we only used it because we were unsure where to eat. After I had taken my food and begun eating, I noticed a 'bug' or insect of some sort, tiny though it was, walking around my food. I thought I was seeing things but I pointed it out to my husband who also saw it and then called the server who called over the manager. I tried to capture it in a paper napkin but may have smashed it into the food. IDK Anyway, the manager tried to assuage us with an offer of wine or desserts to take back to our room -which were refused. I informed her I would not continue with the food selected but would take other food and look at it carefully which is what I did. To me, the smarter thing the manager could have done would be to remove the charge for the meal from the bill but she did not. This truly was not something I expected and informed the manager to have the chef check out all the foods being offered. It was unpleasant to say the least. Other than that we did enjoy our time at the Beau Rivage and are looking at when we can go again in the future.

Southern Hospitality at its best!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This was our first charter trip, and it was awesome! Everything from the Sun Country flight to check in was very smooth. Our reception at check in was great, she was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and loved the refrigerator. Housekeeping was efficient and so friendly. Casino had a wide variety of games and table play. Spent a few days in the MGM sports bar. The bartenders and window clerks were all very friendly. Had a great trip. If you get an opportunity to go DO IT!!

Nice place for older people and table games are less money than Vegas

Valet service lacks respect.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The Beau Rivage Valet service is awful and VERY unfriendly. I had 2 handicap people with me and no one would help with getting them in the building. I was told to pull my vehicle out of the way since I was not using the valet service. One guy that had a toboggan on in 84 degree weather needs to be fired. Rudest person I have ever encountered. House keepers were exceptionally nice. I do have to say that the check in went very smoothly and the clerk was very accommodating. With this being said, do better Beau Rivage. Handicap people help keep you in business too.
