Weekend Reservation Warning – The Gasparilla Inn After calling The Gasparilla Inn directly to book a weekend stay, I was told that weekends are essentially always reserved for weddings and special events. As a regular traveler, I was informed that weekend availability is extremely limited or nonexistent unless you are part of an event. If you’re planning a weekend trip to Boca Grande, I recommend looking elsewhere and not wasting your time trying to secure a reservation here. It’s disappointing that standard travelers don’t realistically have access to weekend bookings. Sharing this so others can plan accordingly and avoid the same frustration

Liz's birthday annual trip 2026
We had our annual event. We got our cottages 412 and 413 for a perfect stay. The golf course was in incredible shape for a great golf experience. Wonderful staff. The dinner in the main dinning room was exceptional. The friendly service in the shops always appreciated. Jamie Leeper always so friendly. The whole bellman staff like David and Robert are exceptional and we are happy to see them each.year. Already booked for 2027

Boutique Hotel, great food, but staff underwhelming.
Beautiful boutique hotel decorated in the Key West manor. We ate at the Main Dining Room and also at the Pink Elephant. Food was tremendous! Our only disappointment was with the staff. Upon arrival, greeted at the restaurant entry, and our servers were not at all friendly. Some mumbled words and we could not understand what they were saying. Overall I still gave this establishment a 4 star. But management should be made aware that some training of the staff could help.

Great getaway
Second trip. Fabulous location. Idyllic. Even better this time around. Last time we did the full meal plan. It was excessive. Switched to modified American Much prefer. This time we came minus the dog so stayed in main hotel. Very nice. Love The Pink Elephant. Definitely eat at The Temp in town

Great Property for a get away
Very Nice Property on Boca Grande island, FL with Golf course and Beach Club. Historic Hotel built in 1910 with additional cottages on the beach and around the property. It is very pricey to stay there, but the experience is Great.
