Having been a dedicated patron for many years, I’ve always held this property in high esteem with many positive memories (regardless of owner group). This last visit, however, marked a sharp and unsettling departure from the hospitality and standards I once associated with this resort. The series of oversights, unacceptable treatment at the lounge and engagement with the Discovery staff—clearly reflect a broader issue under the current ownership: a clear devaluation of guest relationships and long-standing loyalty. It should be YOUR privilege to have me as guest, not the opposite. Ultimately that is how I felt while visiting... As such, I will be seeking alternative accommodations for my future visits to Boca Raton (which are frequent for both business and pleasure). It’s unfortunate that what was once a place of elegance, trust and comfort has now become a symbol of disappointment to me (and others I have shared my experience with). I hope this feedback is taken seriously and a closer look at what “hospitality” truly means, as I was offered none of it during my recent stay. AVOID

A premier, luxe property where the service, ambiance, food, and amenities are all top shelf. We come here every couple of years for a professional conference, but this was our last year. I'm going to miss it so much! It's not a cookie-cutter chain resort but one of a kind and worth a visit

Spent 4 days at The Boca Raton or our 15th wedding anniversary in June 2025. We were upgraded to a suite with a balcony, over looking the Bocce court. We enjoyed Beachside, taking the water taxi over(the cold water they hand out on the boat was delish) Beach service was great, adult pool at Beach Club was amazing, the lounge chairs were so comfy and we enjoyed drinks at the pool. We ate at Harbor House our first night, it was delish, we just had pizza and it was so good. We did eat at Japanese Bocce club- food was unreal- my husband had the oysters and sushi and was so happy. We had dinner on our Anniversary at Flamingo Grill- it was soo good, bext steaks we have had in awhile. Only downside was it was miserably hot and my husband wore shorts and a nice top and we had to sit in the lounge bc he did not have pants on. There were kids in the dining room not in dress pants, so just felt kindy icky. But our service was good and food was delish. We ate at the harborside pool for lunch a couple of days and it was tasty. We will be back.

Stayed three nights at Beachside part of property in early June. Two rooms for the family in partial ocean view rooms. Property was bought by MSD Capital and has done a major revamp. Note, hotel and it's facilities are part of a high end club, and there are certain aras, like on the beach, that are reserved for members only. Pros - hotel was just remodeled (beach side, at least) - once on property, very little reason to leave if you're their for vacation - excellent beach, plenty of chairs and water sport rentals available - friendly staff, and tipping is not expected Cons - expensive, notably the food on site is pricey, but very good - despite having a lot of dining options at the Beach and Harborside locations, couldn't get a reservation a couple of times, most notably at the Japanese restaurant Would I stay again? Definitely during off season (Memorial Day though Labor Day), when all the snow birds go north and Boca empties out. Property never felt crowded, despite restaurants being full. Not sure I would pay the higher rates during peak season, especially as I hear it gets very crowded. But the off season vibe is great.

We decided to try this hotel after The Breakers at Palm Beach. The property is beautiful. The beach is better. We stayed in the bungalows but probably should have gone for the original hotel. The crowd and vibe are different than at The Breakers at Palm, but we still had a good time. This property overall is one notch below The Breakers, but still a great property.
