Establishments associated with Small Luxury Hotels of the World never disappoint, and from upon a lavish hilltop, The Marmara Bodrum is yet another shining example. Its sunny and chic Turkish location has been dubbed the oenew St. Tropez” by savvy travelers, and the luxurious hotel has left no detail " no matter how minor " to chance. The guestrooms and suites showcase soothing earth tones and warm polished woods, and Marmara Bodrum allows guests to enjoy spacious surroundings, such as outdoor terraces with conversational seating. Oversize beds, plush furnishings and an overall sense of serenity are among the amenities and sensational pleasures you will encounter. Expansive windows peer out on the waterfront, granting a glimpse of luxury due to the posh yachts dropping anchor for a stint in Turkish paradise.

The term “hidden gem” was invented for this hotel. The location is just 20-min walk from the Bodrum Castle and all the shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is beyond anything I have seen. A mix of trendy, Mediterranean, elegant, tranquil…etc. We reserved a corner suite that was spacious with a very nice balcony facing the castle and the marina. Good value for sure though breakfast could be further improved. Very clean with low noise level. The swimming pool has amazing views of the Bodrum castle and the downtown market and marina. Staff very friendly and hospitable especially the reception staff. Highly recommended.

We had a truly wonderful stay and were extremely impressed by the quality of service throughout the hotel. The staff on our floor were attentive and professional, and the reception team was always welcoming, Everyone made us feel genuinely well looked after. A special mention must go to the restaurant and pool teams, where the service was consistently excellent. The quality of the food was outstanding — truly among the best we experienced in Bodrum. In fact, we enjoyed the restaurant so much that we hardly felt the need to leave the hotel for meals. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with a great variety of high-quality options, and the restaurant staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional. We would especially like to thank Mr. Sadi. It is very clear that he genuinely enjoys his work and takes great pride in making guests feel welcome. His positive attitude, kindness, and excellent service made our experience even more enjoyable, and our whole family had a fantastic time. For anyone looking for a very clean hotel and managed professionally , excellent food, warm hospitality, and high-quality service, I would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely love to return.

Four nights stay in a delightful location where the attention to detail was second to none - across all the staff including at reception, housekeeping and at the restaurant. We would definitely go back; the food was too good so we ended up eating at The Marmara much more than we had planned! Also had an excellent massage courtesy of ‘Sinan’ which meant I slept in well for a change. Overall, very good and one of our top choices.

Lovely hotel - plus points - beautiful quiet pool round the back, though in late May no-one had fixed the steps to the pool, we found them and seemed to fix them in ok ourselves, but we shouldn't have had to. Great views from all areas. Lovely room. Cleaners very thorough and our lady was extremely pleasant. Negatives - 6 SMALL bottles of beer cost us £64!!!!! We had guessed they might be expensive, but not THAT expensive! Service at the bar was poor. We had to go up to the bar ourselves every time, despite others being served at their tables. There were weddings on two of the nights we stayed, noisy guests in the corridors. Make sure you check if this is happening if you're staying over a weekend. That said, it's still very nice, just be aware of the bar prices!

Food delightful, A+, including breathtaking sunset view. Spa massage with Sinan, incredible. Inexpensive taxi ride into town. Fun eclectic artwork. Live music duo, maybe only weekends? Only negatives for us - the $22.00 bottle of sparkling water and no coffee in room.
