The Marmara Bodrum

I thought this hotel was excellent. A very central location, though you’ll want to take a taxi to go into the city given that it’s located high on the hill. The rooms have a nice terrace, and the staff is accommodating and service oriented. The breakfast was great too. I stayed at the Bodrum Edition (even fancier) thereafter and much preferred the Marmara. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea too. There is nighttime entertainment but it shuts down at a reasonable hour so it’s good for sleeping.

A Wonderful Stay at The Marmara Bodrum We had a fantastic stay at The Marmara Bodrum and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday. Our sea view room was lovely, with beautiful views and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with a great choice of coffee and eggs, making it the perfect way to start the day. The hotel has two lovely, clean swimming pools, both offering amazing views over Bodrum. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, so there is no need to get up early to reserve a spot. On the whole, the pool area was wonderfully relaxed, with just the odd exception from people who clearly hadn’t stayed at the hotel before! The hotel is situated at the top of a hill, but it’s only a short and inexpensive taxi ride into Bodrum, making it easy to enjoy the town whenever you fancy. The waiters and all the staff were exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their friendly, attentive service really made our stay special. It’s a wonderfully cosmopolitan hotel, with guests from all over the world, creating a lovely atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. A beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, and stunning views — what more could you ask for?

The term “hidden gem” was invented for this hotel. The location is just 20-min walk from the Bodrum Castle and all the shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is beyond anything I have seen. A mix of trendy, Mediterranean, elegant, tranquil…etc. We reserved a corner suite that was spacious with a very nice balcony facing the castle and the marina. Good value for sure though breakfast could be further improved. Very clean with low noise level. The swimming pool has amazing views of the Bodrum castle and the downtown market and marina. Staff very friendly and hospitable especially the reception staff. Highly recommended.

We had a truly wonderful stay and were extremely impressed by the quality of service throughout the hotel. The staff on our floor were attentive and professional, and the reception team was always welcoming, Everyone made us feel genuinely well looked after. A special mention must go to the restaurant and pool teams, where the service was consistently excellent. The quality of the food was outstanding — truly among the best we experienced in Bodrum. In fact, we enjoyed the restaurant so much that we hardly felt the need to leave the hotel for meals. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with a great variety of high-quality options, and the restaurant staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional. We would especially like to thank Mr. Sadi. It is very clear that he genuinely enjoys his work and takes great pride in making guests feel welcome. His positive attitude, kindness, and excellent service made our experience even more enjoyable, and our whole family had a fantastic time. For anyone looking for a very clean hotel and managed professionally , excellent food, warm hospitality, and high-quality service, I would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely love to return.

Four nights stay in a delightful location where the attention to detail was second to none - across all the staff including at reception, housekeeping and at the restaurant. We would definitely go back; the food was too good so we ended up eating at The Marmara much more than we had planned! Also had an excellent massage courtesy of ‘Sinan’ which meant I slept in well for a change. Overall, very good and one of our top choices.
