Rixos Premium Bodrum

We had a deeply disappointing experience at Rixos Premium Bodrum that overshadowed our stay. On day one, Suleyman from Guest Relations contacted us via WhatsApp, assuring us in Bulgarian that we could rely on him for anything we needed. We asked him to book à la carte dinners at both the Italian and Greek (Kalamata) restaurants for our group. The Italian reservation went smoothly, but when we arrived at the Greek restaurant — dressed up for the occasion with our children — we were told there was no reservation. It seems the booking was quietly cancelled, likely because a large corporate group wanted the restaurant exclusively that evening, and we were never informed. Standing there in formal attire with our kids, only to be turned away, was genuinely humiliating. Worse, Guest Relations handled it poorly on the spot — no apology, no real solution, just told us to go to the main restaurant instead. We also found the evening entertainment options for adults (bar/nightclub) quite limited. Given the broken reservation, the unprofessional handling, and the embarrassment caused to our family, we can’t recommend relying on staff promises regarding restaurant bookings here

At the beginning of our stay, we were contacted by a hotel representative who offered to assist us with reservations and activities. He successfully arranged a paddleboarding session and booked us tables at both à la carte restaurants. Everything seemed well organized until the evening of our second restaurant reservation. After getting ready for what we expected to be a nice dinner at the Greek restaurant, we arrived only to be told that we had no reservation and that the restaurant had been reserved for a large group. What made the situation even more frustrating was that our reservation had previously been confirmed by the reception desk. The Guest Relations team at the restaurant explained that only they could make restaurant reservations and that the employee who had assisted us was part of another department and was not authorized to do so. However, this explanation raised even more questions since our first restaurant reservation, arranged by the same person, had worked perfectly. The entire situation revealed a serious lack of communication and coordination between departments within the hotel. As a result, we never got the opportunity to try the Greek restaurant, and since it would not be open again before our departure, there was no way to reschedule. Another disappointing experience occurred on our second day, when members of the Guest Relations team were actively approaching guests during lunch and encouraging them to leave positive reviews. They even offered to record video reviews. I declined because I prefer to evaluate a hotel after completing my stay. Unfortunately, my parents, who do not speak English well, were persuaded to participate, and a member of the Guest Relations team actually wrote and submitted a review on their behalf. We found this highly inappropriate, as reviews should reflect the genuine opinions of guests and not be influenced or written by hotel staff. Rixos Premium Bodrum has many strengths, including beautiful facilities, good food, and a great location. However, the lack of internal communication and the way guest reviews are being handled left us disappointed and prevented us from fully enjoying what should have been a premium experience.

The location is wonderful, having all the elements needed for a perfect stay, may that be business, or leisure. the atmosphere at the restaurants and beach is great. and the service ia the best i have seen ip until now in Turkey. i would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great stay
